If sponsors are the issue, I just don't get why we can't make two versions of the famous blue and white....one home sponsor for home matches, one away sponsor for away matches to wear them when colours don't clash!? It would cost little and help promote our blue and white quarter iniquity continuity. Simples! Who sponsors the clashing away shirts?

We should play away in blue and white as far as possible. The away kit should actually be a change kit, ie only change when there is a colour clash Isn't there something odd about us doing that, sponsors?

We are safe when we are safe. This. Let's just get as many points as we can, as quick as we can, so we're not looking over our shoulder every fixture towards the end of the season. The forum will be a better place for it too! Especially when you see who we've got coming up.

The bottoms sides are so bad the only team they manage to beat is us, and we only have FGR to play from that lot. It will take a lot for us to go down although not impossible Expect the unexpected.

Please tell me you're only on about the away shirt? No, I’m on about the home shirt. Do away with the Quarters? No thanks.

Hello campers ✌️ Been away now 3 times in the Motorhome, all relatively local , Broadway in the Cotswolds , Longleat and Cheddar for a few local-ish starters as we get our head around how things work . A 2 week trip to Scotland in the spring then another 2 weeks in sunny France in the summer planned . Loving it , for any other Gas thinking of taking the plunge .

Who needs to see that though? Media commentators, maybe? Quite a few of the away commentators on i-follow last season mentioned that it was difficult to see the numbers on the shirts. Maybe, although clubs such as Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield United, Wycombe, Newcastle, Blackburn etc, all have stripes, halves, quarters on their backs and it doesn't bother them.

As long as you get up early and stop you know who nearly ruining the match day thread winning mentality all will be good! Will be at a gig Friday night, I’ll be sure to step out and make sure the match day starter is composed right on time🍻 Who you seeing?

Like I said each to their own. Rovers draw Arse on the cup, who you cheering for? Not much chance of it happening,we don't do cup runs. The last time we meet in 84 I'd already booked for the Munich beer fest so missed the highbury game and couldn't make eastville as working in Surrey. Get around a bit chap?

I remember us saying that 2 years ago and then Burton and a few other sides went on crazy runs. And we fell like a stone. Obviously our manager and players are way more professional than you and will certainly not be thinking they’re already safe. So we should be fine. That's a long way round of saying "you're right GGMI - we're safe". Why are you like that?

Didn't they used to put the shirt designs out for opinions back in the day? I can’t remember it happening too many times. If there was we should never be allowed a say ever again, we had all yellow away shirts 4 out of 5 seasons (2014/15 to 2018/19) with the exception being the dark quartered one with Neon trim (2017/18) Maximise those Away shirt sales with something completely different as much as possible, every single time. Not overly fussed about the away kit to be honest.

Putting things in context. We could go on a shocking run if we W 1 D 4 L 8 which will give us 48 with a better GD (49) and stay up based on that last 3 years. Is that last 3 years for Lg1?

Home shirt - 1/4’s front and back but in all honesty I’m not really fussed if they go solid blue back, just stay away from an all white one at all costs Away shirt - As vibrant/colourful/jazzy as they can muster, quarters or not. All yellow away shirts get very very boring after god knows how many times we’ve done it recently. Plus the yellow & green promotion quarters (and this seasons third shirt don’t forget) is a masterpiece and will not be beaten. Looking forward to next seasons designs whenever they will be revealed. Didn't they used to put the shirt designs out for opinions back in the day?

I think the solid colour on the back is because it's hard to see the name and number over quarters. Clubs with stripes have the same problem. A couple of shirts we've had red writing to combat this, but people didn't like that for obvious reasons! Who needs to see that though?

Hmm, let's just get what we need to be sure before making "we're safe" comments. We're safe. Mathematically?

I would like to see a change away from the quarters for a couple of years. I really like the kit that Brighton and Hove are wearing this season. The quartets are getting a bit bland as you can’t do much with them, and changes over the years have been hit or miss. So let’s try something new. Please tell me you're only on about the away shirt?

Stop worrying peeps. Going on last season we would now be safe. Admittedly a very low tally last season but their does seem again a divide between the top teams and bottom teams. I don't think we will need anything like 52 points like someone suggests above. I think 45 would be enough to be sure this season. Hmm, let's just get what we need to be sure before making "we're safe" comments.

Maybe we could have a full home shirt of quarters rather than just the front.

How was Belshaw? Stay on his line, poor distribution, couldn't take a ball from a cross, full of mistakes, asking for Yeti. Nice of you to ask for me Mr Baggins. I could not watch the match today due to a family commitment so have seen only the highlights. That evidence shows me that yes, yet again he stayed on his line when the ball was 3 metres away from him and they hit he post. Perhaps Balcombe can teach him how to jump and punch the ball? However, I am very happy that he kept out their 2 shots on target Bigger test next week against Barnsley. Hope he can rise (pun intended) to the challenge. If he struggles I will NOT be getting on his back during the match. Its interesting how some people on here imply his recall is responsible for our win (bit disrespectful to the other players). I look forward to the same people blaming him next time we lose!! The corner got to the area at pretty much head height, if Belshaw had come for that he'd have had to have crashed through a defender and a striker stood in front of him. But that's ok, we kept a clean sheet and took 3 points, something we've struggled with with Balcombe.

Hate to say it, but I really couldn't care less. 2 vile Clubs playing each other. No thanks. What’s the beef with Newcastle? The ownership? No not really, just don't like them.
