Be a crying shame if he stoops to that level, playing infront of a few hundred.
Would love to have him back here, 100% think his quality would still shine through.

He could still do a job for us, sign the man up DC you know it makes sense!

That would be shocking if this were to pan out. There's nothing wrong with wanting to play closer to where you live and be closer to your family, but surely Portsmouth would be interested and a more viable move, not dropping to the Conference for Eastleigh.
As long as wage demands weren't crazy money I'd have him back in heartbeat.

But there again after what that penissourous Taylor did anything is possible I suppose?

Unpopular opinion: He's 35, has made 63 league apps in the last 3 seasons, scoring 7 goals and will probably be on big wages (I'll give some credence to the Eastleigh rumor based on that fact).
I'm fine to let him sign for someone else.

Many players would be retired or about to retire at 35. So if he decides to play on it will need to be at a level where pace is not such an issue. He will be playing from now on because he wants to play and not because of the wages. If he still lives down soton way then Swindon town, Crawley town or Yeovil town might be good options for him (?)

If wages aren't still a factor why's he rumoured to be joining one of the biggest payers in the National League? TBH if I was DC I'd be tempted to take a gamble on offering him a one year deal, as surely he's going to be a better option than James, Ellis or Easter were this season and I doubt Eastleigh are paying their players Div 1 wages.
