I did like the player change bit last time, less than a minute wasn't it. It's just a shame every club can't submit a youth team

i will be there As long as your happy to travel to Reading or Swansea to see their U21s, when Rovers get forced out of the league The likes of Henbury 'Scab' Gas won't care I suspect. They clearly have little interest in the preserving the football league for generations to follow.

Just popped on here from my brief hiatus from posting to say, boycott from me and my family , utter dog sh** competition, will eventually kill the lower league football family. Total disrespect to senior players of our lower league teams to be playing against highly paid junior, overrated primadonnas!!!!!! UTG !!!!! See you all in the new season

If DC said he was not going to attend the game and he sent somebody like Mansell to take charge of the team then i would not go. DC is taking this game seriously so the least i can do is support my team. I leave all the political bullsh*t to the powers to be.

Boycott. Hope the club see sense and close most of the ground for the games, the south West stand should be large enough for our scabs

'I leave all the political bullsh*t to the powers to be' basically translates to I passively sit back and consciously support a competition which threatens the long term future of Bristol Rovers and the football league in general. That's certainly not my definition of 'support'. I back DC 100% but the future of lower league football is far far bigger than him or the teams need to see spectators.

With the exception of the 2007 final I have always boycotted this competition simply because it is sh**e. I didn't think it was possible but Shaun Harvey has devalued the competition to the point where I wouldn't even be bother watching Rovers in a final.

No doubt Man City will win it with a squad of foreign youngsters, helping out the England national team.

The fan boycott has always been about ensuring this sort of thing doesn't become a regular first team fixture in the League. DC's attitude towards it is quite clear, his subbing of the keeper in the 2nd minute at Pompey said it all.

I think we did appeal and lost. did we get fined for appealing ?? Probably, and Shaun Harvey and the Checkatrade chairman were seen soon after, laughing heartily whilst sharing a curry on the proceeds.
