Great news, good for him and I hope he does well. I'm a little disappointed he didn't get another English club at lg2 or Conf level as I would have made a point to go to a game and thank him for his part in our recovery.

Glad he's found a club. Wouldn't have felt right him being on the scrapheap.

Wouldn't it great if a load of us went over in gas shirts to see him play and sung about him for 90 mins! 😂

Great guy. Was probably underrated as a player half way through his time with us because he was part of the team that went down. Was never his fault, the defence was pretty good that season and he never gave less than 100%. That we all feel so positive towards him tells its own story. Him, Milds, Manse, Brown and Lockyer and Andy Monkhouse all top men in that 14/15 season and he did it again the next season. Great player and him sinking to his knees after the penalty at Wembley whilst the others ran here and there is my favourite Rovers memory, of all time. I watched the pen go in and looked at the centre circle where everyone was going mental except Macca, for him it seemed pure relief just like my feeling at the time. A wrong was righted! And as others have said which BRFC captain captained two consecutive promotions? None, but Macca has. Good luck for the future and I hope he gets more success. I guess Crusaders will have a lot of gasheads supporting them this season.
