This has to be the most ridiculous thread ever. The sense of entitlement in people nowadays is just insane. We've come to a point where personal want is now so great that people are actually sensibly trying to argue that a private business MUST sell what they want. Go to a smartcar dealership and insist they sell you a Jag.

Ruined a fair argument with name calling there. Fwiw, I completely disagree. FGR could promote vegan food by all means but removing food from the supporters is ridiculous. Do the players wear leather boots/jackets? Are all products not tested on animals? Can fans wear belts? Dale Vince is dictating to his customers. So only halal meat is ok if the owner is a sharia worshipper? How about no women allowed to games? Why not make the supporters kiss a statue of Buddha at the turnstile or remove all shoes and socks? The bloke is behaving like Hitler and some of you are defending it!! Your bang on the money there, just like hitler! Hitler starts a war which results in 50-70 million deaths and attempts to rid the world of a race. Dale vince wont sell meat pies at minor league football matches. Er yeah your spot on mate. But early for you innit? Look forward to reading your waffle tomorrow morning!

Ok guys there's a difference of opinion here. Pretty much sums up why most threads deteriorate into arguments.
I think its fine to complain if the entertainment you are paying for doesn't offer 'Normal' things like foods and drinks.
If you are of the notion that the Boss can do what he wants with his play thing, then that's fine also. But wrong.

Not too much different from dictating what you eat is it?

"Bean burgers at Forest Green will inevitably lead to the destruction of British culture as I know it." Can you actually hear yourself? I can hear how naive you are. Haha ok stormfrontgas.

It also works the other way too. When I was growing up I had little choice, even to the extent of ordering a meat dish and swapping items with my parents or on occasions having to eat it.
A meat free option is resonably recent even in my lifetime when eating out. I am off to Paris tomorrow and have to be prepared to dine off of side orders as even the McDonalds en route thinks fish is meat free.

Because there's a big difference between getting some bourbon biscuits in for Aunt Mable even though you don't eat them, and operating a business within the boundaries of what you believe to be ethical and moral. Jesus wept. Should Rovers give away fans the North Terrace because the away terrace is uncovered? Should all clubs have to serve halal and kosher and not play games on holy days in case some of the 'guests' are religious? Should there be a standardised food and drink menu across every football stadia in the country? Standardised ticket prices? And merchandise available? When you go to an away match you are buying in to the whole day, not just the football. If you find the vegan hospitality at Forest Green unacceptable then don't go. You've no divine right to go to any ground in this country and you've certainly no right to dictate their food and drink options you daft git. Ruined a fair argument with name calling there. Fwiw, I completely disagree. FGR could promote vegan food by all means but removing food from the supporters is ridiculous. Do the players wear leather boots/jackets? How about no women allowed to games? Why not make the supporters kiss a statue of Buddha at the turnstile or remove all shoes and socks? The bloke is behaving like Hitler and some of you are defending it!! It's not removing food, it's just simply not supplying it. Eating meat can be as bad as eating a human in some people's opinion so I fully understand him not advocating it. Would you serve up human meat at a dinner party because it was the dish that a lot of people fancied eating?

The McDonald's in France are weird, they gave me completely the wrong order and then blamed me in English for not speaking french.... I've never been so confused....

The original posters thread title is now obviously wrong. Fair play to FGR for moving the Gasheads under cover when the weather forecast proved to be right. Never been to the ground so cannot comment on their veggie food options, having said that you could hardly call our offerings at the Mem to be cordon bleu!

As regards the French branches of Macdonalds, thought it was common knowledge their quarter pounders are horsemeat. Thanks also to my old adversery GGMI for his kind words. I am very well, pre season training going well and looking forward to a successful season. By the way Paul still undecided about the hospitality game, was not going to attend it as thinking about the testimonial game. Will let you know in goodtime.
