It's his ground, he can sit visiting fans where he likes and can serve whatever food he likes. You don't have to go and you don't have to eat. The food at the Mem is sh**e. Hello Hugo. I have long respected the points of view you have. You certainly made this hornet's nest a better place. I would totally agree with you if the vegan food were the product on offer and everyone visiting were there to enjoy that product. It's not; the football is the product on offer and you are catering for those who you are hosting including your own supporters. If people come to my house I treat them with the respect their views deserve; not my own views. Even more so if they are strangers or I own a business which is catering for them. Common decency in my book.

Are you inviting several thousand unknown individuals in to your home every other week? No? Well your comparison is a false one then. I honestly despise FGR but anyone that gets up in arms over the vegan food needs to get over themselves.

Pretty much all becuase i was desperate. Suck it up or go without. At the end of the day whatver food you buy away is money for the opposition

That goes for any entity. You should not impose your personal views on people you are supposed to be welcoming in. Totally ignorant in my book. Peter Parker - the host is the one who should be sucking it up, not the guest - home or away guests.

"imposing his personal views" I didn't realise he forces fans to buy food, glad I stayed at home this pm in the dry! As far as why he doesn't supply meat pies etc isn't a veggies view point that meat means murder, I guess killing a few cows for meat pies goes against his view point! But if you don't like what he does then simply stay away, as I doubt he'll change because a few fans moan on a football forum

Because there's a big difference between getting some bourbon biscuits in for Aunt Mable even though you don't eat them, and operating a business within the boundaries of what you believe to be ethical and moral. Jesus wept. Should Rovers give away fans the North Terrace because the away terrace is uncovered? Should all clubs have to serve halal and kosher and not play games on holy days in case some of the 'guests' are religious? Should there be a standardised food and drink menu across every football stadia in the country? Standardised ticket prices? And merchandise available? When you go to an away match you are buying in to the whole day, not just the football. If you find the vegan hospitality at Forest Green unacceptable then don't go. You've no divine right to go to any ground in this country and you've certainly no right to dictate their food and drink options you daft git.

Guy's you are just not getting it, as a pretty much 'standard' Brit, you must do what ever ANY minority group wants. On the bright side, one day you will be the minority, at which time you can say 'you must all do what I want now', this is when you are told 'F off and live somewhere else, you are not wanted here'

Fwiw, I completely disagree. FGR could promote vegan food by all means but removing food from the supporters is ridiculous. Do the players wear leather boots/jackets? Are all products not tested on animals? Can fans wear belts? Dale Vince is dictating to his customers. So only halal meat is ok if the owner is a sharia worshipper? How about no women allowed to games? Why not make the supporters kiss a statue of Buddha at the turnstile or remove all shoes and socks? The bloke is behaving like Hitler and some of you are defending it!!

Hitler starts a war which results in 50-70 million deaths and attempts to rid the world of a race. Dale vince wont sell meat pies at minor league football matches. Er yeah your spot on mate.
