i am not in favour of the posts slagging off the board, but when there is no communication fans get frustrated, Wael is a football fan he must understand the torment that us older fans have been through, countless failed projects, derisory comments from Lansdown, he has bought into a passionate football family, who love their club, and want us to progress and succeed. We have always been the second team in Bristol and lacked finance, but when he arrived we though those days were over. Hamer has informed us along the way of progress with the UWE but he has led us up the garden path, he had over egged where we were at with the deal, landing lights were on etc, I personally feel that he has done a poor job as chairman and he had lost all credibility, I would like to see him replaced with a more open and honest person who understands that fans listen to his every word as gospel and become disappointed when the claims are not delivered. I feel the communication needs to be improved to prevent meltdowns on here, your thoughts?

Too many threads to choose which to reply in. Hard to pick the right words to write.

Bang on Pucklegas. It's the lack of communication from the organ grinder and the pathetic utterances from the Monkey that quite set me off today! Showed massive lack of respect for the fans, and I'm sure they would have said nothing if they hadn't been under pressure to do so.

Wael will need to answer for Dwane Sport. would like to know:
Why a deal couldn't be reached. I make if it's over it's over why couldn't they give the reason
if/when they were planning to come clean
is there a chance UWE negotiations could continue
is there a plan b, when will work start on the that, have they already began if uwe deal has been dead a while
Training ground progress
Could go on and on. would just love an honest answer.

Yes, certainly communication in the last few months has been very poor. The difficulty as I see it is that Hamer is not privy to what the Al Qadi family think and perhaps contact with overseas owners is not always easy for him. It is now clear that Hani is a key figure in determining progress and that he is a busy executive and the club may not always be top of the agenda. Hamer does not always appear to be on top of his brief and this needs to be dealt by perhaps by a clear strategic plan with a CEO/ Chair charged with its delivery. It is no good appointing people to manage a club if they simply do not know the family's agenda and objectives. I think Hamer may not be the right man and someone with more executive power to implement and agreed strategy is needed and the Al Qadi's need to work closer with that person.

I have followed the Rovers for over 50 years and yes we are a hardy bunch. We can take disappointment and hardship. Blimey, we seen enough of it over the years. But, we need to be respected and if the UWE deal was a bad one then explain, don't treat us like idiots.

But what is clear is that Hamer does not know what the family plans to do and the Al Qadis are the only ones who can tell us and they remain silent.

SH is taking a lot of flak, but in reality he's just saying what the AQ family want him to say. It's shameful that nobody from the AQ family/Dwayne Sports have appeared to explain things.

I.e. enjoy a brief period of success through playing rubbish football, go bust, have the club's league membership sold to another town and restart in the Downs league. Cheers Steve!

Communication has been no existent because their is nothing to report! It has taken 18 months to almost get a head of terms to the table and almost signed! Look how quick it took to get the land for the training ground, I hope we can find a new plot for the stadium and it goes that smoothly but must be in S Glos and planning could be quicker as they want a stadium.
