Ellis harrison, what a guy! Powerful, athletic and a great finisher Always engages with the youngsters at the thatchers end and always ready to smile or have a laugh with his team mates. last season he often had to play upfront on his own in tough away games with mixed results but including a stunning show at chelsea where he bullied cahill for 65 minutes and who was visibly relieved when dc took him off. Vital goals in the conference and league 2 seasons and a mixed season in league 1 where he scored about the average amount of goals for a striker at that level. Under dc some players have been more consistent like lockyer, brown,o clarke and sinclair but nobody can take away the massive part he has played in our climb back to respectability. Thanks ellis your a gem. I know a 20 goal season is there for the lad so what about this season?

That's so funny! I was just about to do a BB late night "Time, gentlemen please", poorly spelt, flame thread with bad grammar but couldn't think of a decent subject.
Of course! This was such an obvious one!

He'll always decide opinion but he does pop up with important goals, usually just as I've said under my breathe something along the lines of " oh for f**ks sake Ellis get off you lazy bastard your useless". I was 50/50 about whether we should offer him a deal but now we have and he's signed im ok with that but I'm not convinced he'll play enough games to score 20+ goals or that he's good enough to fire us in to the championship. I've always thought that he's good to bring on last 20 minutes to grab a goal or win us a penalty.

Don't think there's much wrong with his post to be honest he can see that Ellis has played his part these last three brilliant years. So what ?

His 20 goal season will come when he returns back to the conference - The only League he's consistently scored in. He's not good enough to be a 20 goal a season man in League 1 or 2.

I see his post as pure sarcasm. Another late night watered up, I'll whined the gas heads up before I hit the sack kind of thread.

Just re read that you mean charlton tomorrow. I'd be surprised if Ellis starts tomorrow let alone the only man up top.
