Sorry mate, I just don't get how you came to this conclusion. When was the last time we had a genuine winger, who can also score goals? Has to be between Riordan and Clarkson, I'd have thought.

saw his interview , looks like hes just wants to get some games under his belt and rediscover some form. lots of succesfull players have been turned down by clubs and gone on to do well. Exactly, I think a lot are worried by our previous regarding this sort of player though. That's understandable, I am too to an extent. Still only 24 though, so has a lot to prove. It's two levels below where he's played before, so he's either going to stand out as an very talented player in the Conference or ultimately fail, like Riordan et al. in League Two. It's not like he's had bad injurys holding him back either. I think he just needs to get some game time and get his confidence back. Defiantly a positive signing . I think he will do well for us.

All of us, at some time, need to make a break and to start anew so as to be able to move forward. One thing I learned from my time fencing, is that what you sometimes think is a step backwards can be very much a step forwards. I know I am not explaining it very well but getting away, starting afresh elsewhere can be a real tonic and can be the start of great things. I wish Balanta all the very best and hope both he and we are at the start if a mutually beneficial relationship. We need a hero and he has the tools, it's just whether this can be the place to unlock his talent.
