KJ clearly doesn't fancy him ... expect to see him in an Eastleigh shirt very soon.

No, he is a winger or has at least played most of his career on the wing. I believe he has played on both the right and the left.
He probably could do a job for us. Not sure of the reasons behind his Pompey exit though?

Not sure of the reasons behind his Pompey exit though? He played as an attacking midfielder last season, a number 10 role. Jackett just doesn't rate him and has plenty of competition for places in that area, so presumably wants to free up some space in the budget. He said: "for Gary anyway and Michael Smith, the situation is they haven't been selected. That's purely on what I've seen so far."Β

Maybe past his best and no longer has the pace to play on the wing?

Very good player. Not sure how good he is nowadays though, especially as we need a bit of pace in our team. I suspect he will end up at either Wigan or Oldham.

I was reading an interview with him where he said: "As you get older, you get shifted inside a little bit β for me, itβs been probably the last three or four years." He did well last season centrally though, scoring 10 goals and getting 10 assists. I wouldn't sign him personally. We need a winger now with pace as a priority.
