7 years ago today...Were you there?
Oxford Utd 6 - 1 Bristol Rovers
Oxford marked their return to the Carling Cup after four years away with a stunning victory over Bristol Rovers.
Simon Heslop fired home from 20 yards to give them the lead and Matt Green made it two from captain James Constable's brilliant through-ball.
Chris Lines gave Rovers hope from the edge of the box but Constable made it 3-1 after a one-two with Green.
Jack Midson tapped in and Constable added a spectacular volley, before Heslop fired home a last-gasp sixth.

Yep, I was there, one of the most disgraceful performances I ever witnessed from a team in a Rovers shirt.

Wasn't that Mogadon's first solo season after Lennie was fired?
That turned out well, didn't it?

For my sins I was at Trashton that night. However, in my defence, I took scrappy doo to watch England U21 beat Uzbekistan 2-0. Even tho it was an England game all the announcers were interested in was butting in to rejoice at every goal Rovers conceded. You knew where the Sh1!heads were in the crowd cos they were the only ones jumping up and down each time. Even at an England game they are more obsessed about us than anything else. Total wankers.

Yes. Worst performance I have ever seen from us home or away. Agreed. Poor Mike Green was hung out to dry. No protection given to him whatsoever.
