I thought it was impossible to get a seat in the East stand anyway? It'll have to be a tent.

( against oxford anyway ) That is quite shocking. Last season under-eights were given free entry at Bournemouth with a £7.50 membership. Burnley offered free season tickets to under-10s with a full-paying adult in the Family Stand. Stoke City offered free season tickets to City7 (seven-year-old) members when bought with an adult. Sunderland offered child season tickets for £25. Watford offered under-16s season tickets for £30.

We should be doing all we can to encourage the next generation of fans, especially with those south of the river and the facilities they can offer.

Second year and they give the kids an ST book for loyalty as well, meaning they can get good away tickets for big games. It was a pain with no books for them last year for Chelsea, as had to leave one son at home. I believe though it's only a fiver per kid if you get them in on the early bird offer for the family end and maybe the south stand as well. Family end is a good view and it's only me and my mate swearing in there.

Forgot to say they get a free pasty, a free drink, bring a friend voucher, 10% off both shirts, 10% off booking a function room free entry to the Christmas party and chance to be a mascot. They also get to flirt with the glamorous hostesses in the west stand entrance, but no touching.

That's great that those clubs in the prem with their 100 million tv contracts can offer such discounts to young supporters. really good.

Isn't it usually free if they are young enough to sit on your lap? I didn't pay for my 3-year-old in the West Brom friendly, they just asked me to pass him over the turnstile!
