You always need a player like Sincs to break things up and chase the opposition into making errors.
O.Clarke was anonymous, Lines too negative and lightweight, and Sercs gives the ball away too much.
Which is why he should've strengthened in the bloody transfer window.
Same story, win a few games at the right time, no need to bother...

Against a team that could win the league this year as well They wont win the league. Far too inconsistent. Play offs maybe.

Well a few things clearer for me .... Byron Moore and Jonny Burns are surely not good enough. Partington fills me with way more confidence than Leadbetter. Lee Brown is approaching his 'best before' date. Ollie Clarke is way too inconsistent ... Good stuff from Tom Nichols, Tom Broadbent and thought Ellis gave it a real go. DC still mystifies me with team selection, formation and how we neutralise the opposition threat .... Charlie Wyke is a great example. He hadn't scored in his previous eight games as other teams surely do their homework better. Totally agree - I would add that I'm now unsure what Leadbitter brings to the team anymore. I used to be a big supporter of his and thought he would be going on to better things. He had a shocker against Peterborough and was done for speed on a few occasions and his distribution is useless. Why Partington was dropped today is beyond me - if DC felt he couldn't manage three games in a week why play play him against Wycombe. And why Byron Moore gets anywhere near this team is beyond me - with Telford, Nicholls and Bola on the bench bizarre!!

From what I saw I don't think burn and Broadbent will trouble our normal central 2. Burn is crap and Broadbent isn't ready.

It baffles me that parta has had a cracking few games and assisted i think 3 in 2 and is left on bench. Telford gets 2 mid week and is left on bench.
Both far better than What we had out there.
There is no incentive to play well.
And yet the poor players seem to be guaranteed a starting place.
Its all good saying we missed our 2 central defenders but im sorry, if the 2 in reserve arent good enough then surely thats what a transfer window is for?

At times Rovers passed very slickly and looked the business. Not often enough though.
I can understand Leadbitter getting the nod today ,to add to experience in the backline. However he was poor for a lot of the game. Moore was unlucky AGAIN not to score but didn't seem to get involved enough. Harrison did well leading the line but didn't really worry their keeper. Nichols was unlucky not to score and certainly has something about him. Maybe Moore starting and Telford getting two in the week made him aware his place is up for grabs (?) 1st goal offside. 2nd goal obstruction (burn should have taken a dive) 3rd goal cross should never had been allowed to come in.
First half was mass disorganisation at the back and panic actions. Bradford city obviously targeted Burn as the weakest link today ,probably knew a body block attempt on Broadbent would just see their player knocked over haha.
Expected to lose with two rookies replacing two internationals in a key area of the pitch.
Walsall and Oldham at home now,so need to get back to winning ways.

Badly missed Lockyer and Sweeney Broadbent is a unit but naive and has a lot to learn Burn was a little out his depth Centre mid did little to stop the constant pressure on the back 4 no one close to Ellis or Gaffney in what's a difficult job up front on your own,I thought both full backs did ok,not brilliant but adequate and having to cover for 2 naive centre backs Nichol looked lively and Billy is too good for this league, surrounded by better players he'd develop further

Before we go into meltdown, I should point out that our central defensive pair today, have just one league appearance between them. And it showed.

Can't you see now we're stevek is coming from? Because he said we would get done today having both CBs on international duty? No, thought not.

We were sh** today. end of.
Few can say they really had a decent game.
DC need to continue with the evolution of this side.
Next Saturday based on the season so far and who is available.
Slocombe. Parts, Locks, Sweeney, Bola Bodin, sercombe, Clarke, Nichols Harrison Telford
After 5 or so games the above are the only ones that have stood out when given a chance.
O Clarke there is a good player there and won me over last season.
Harrison looks like he is finding his feet, but is a confidence player in a good team he would do well.
Nicholls could drop to left if we wanted 4 in midfield. Looked good when he came on today.
Telford looks like a tidy football player. he took his goals so well against Wycombe and deserves a chance.
We have far too many players still that are average or just not good enough.

Easy to say Partington should have started ahead of Burn after the event didn't see too many saying that before ko. Personally was surprised he didn't start but at full back where he's been excellent recently. Burn to me looked ok in patches but caught out twice at set pieces & got punished, bit early to write him off completely though. Bradfords a tough place to go but felt we were a bit tentative never really imposed ourselves on the game too many simple misplaced passes & far too easy for them to move the ball. Havent heard any interviews but think DC will be disappointed how easy we made it for them for the majority of the game. Two home games now important we bounce back would definitely like to see Telford given a run.

I think today shows just how important Sinclair is tbh. Bradford had too much time on the ball and Sincs wouldn't have allowed it.

That's a right winger and two centre mids in a midfield 3? Apologies if it's just the formatting.

Give them as many free headers as we did and they'll get goals, wouldn't expect that to happen with our regular centre halves. Pretty simple really.
