I know the person who was ejected and i can assure you he is not racist, so it must be pretty dam good evidence to prosecute ( won't happen IMO ) My understanding is that the person was spoken to, but did not think that there was anything wrong with what he had said. The people who reported it do not wish to see him banned or prosecuted, hopefully the club can provide a little education as to terminology which was used in the 70's not being acceptable these days, and he'll take it on board. Hi Tilly, he is a Gentleman of the "Old school" and i'm sure he will learn from his possible mistake. He has worked for the SC for many many years on match days and helped loads of people in many ways

Happy with any aggressive, abusive fans being kicked out and banned. Why do people think they can turn up to a match and act like a pr1ck? Low intelligence or culture?

I seem to be missing something edotb. What do you class as banter? Racial Abuse, people not getting the assistance they deserve or drug taking? I don't think we need a textbook guide. Everyone knows common decency. It's having the sense to engage brain before opening trap.

Slightly off topic, I see that some of the hillbillies have been playing up on a train back from Reading. Abusing and intimidating apparently.. Of course the family club will deny it, or maybe it was a bunch of Gasheads out to give Bristol Sport 82 a bad name...

So a drunk teenager on drugs in his 50s who isn't racist shouted racist abuse and was correctly ejected in an efficient manner by useless stewards who do nothing?
Thanks for clearing that up.

Football fans ejections should only be done with a Trebuchet.

Football fans ejections should only be done with a Trebuchet. Or by one of those massive wooden sling thingys they used in medieval times for launching rocks?

Football fans ejections should only be done with a Trebuchet. I really like the sound of that. Do you think we could make one big enough that it could fire the perpetrators at Trashton Gate maybe take out that stupid looking toast rack roof they've built ?

On the subject of supporter behaviour what is up with 10 German Bombers being sung?

On the subject of supporter behaviour what is up with 10 German Bombers being sung? In a way it's only a song sung about us winning the war so not that bad but on the other hand it tends to be a song sang by kids who probably don't even know what the Second World War is or when it was so it grinds a bit. Especially after the 9th verse !

Ten German Bombers is regularly sung at England games. When I used to go regularly there was a very popular pub outside Wembley on the corner of Harrow Road and Oakington Manor Drive (it closed down a few years ago) and it was always sung very loudly in there. However, I agree that I have no idea why it is sung at Rovers. I suspect it's a way of getting singing going when the match is dull.
