Lines got far more to offer than sincs you just cant have eleven players running around the pitch tackling and passing back and sideways

People forget Sinclair was absent for many months in both promotion seasons. I doubt promotion would have occurred with Lines absent for a similar period.

But we could have done with Sincs at Bradford! Horses for courses as they say. 5 wins out of 6 league and cup games, 6 out of 8 imagine what we'll do if all our players find form and Nichols, or Telford, soon starts scoring!

I know the point you're making but Lines only joined the club in March 15 making his debut at Halifax so not so sure. More important in League 2 promotion of course. SS does find it hard to have a settled space but he always pulls out these nugget games every so often, Gateshead at home, Swindon last season at home and others. I suspect DC likes SS in the team for what he brings. UTG!

I dont agree,we finished both seasons strongly but we gained lots of points before that with sinclair playing. Its a team game anyway so there are too many variables to make that argument stand up. During the conference season lines was absent until we signed him and we got plenty of points during that period including a 9 or 10 match winning run but so what?

Certainly did not in our promotion season from the Conference. Sinclair was injured well before Christmas and did not reappear again that season. We certainly did not gain lots of points before xmas in non league.

Sincs was badly injured and so made his last appearance that season on Feb 28 at Gateshead, returning from his early January injury.

For all that Lines was an important factor in the run-in, let's give Sincs credit. In his last 10 starts of the season we won 7 and drew 3, so we were hardly struggling!

Sincs is such a valuable player who has improved with us every season. What a shame he got injured after his smart finish v Fleetwood. I think he's missed now.
I also can't stand fellow Gasheads saying he just passes backwards and sideways - it's B%llocks !! When he next starts, I urge the Sincs Moaners to watch carefully and count for themselves how many forward passes he makes. One other thing is - he keeps possession well too - something overlooked by a few of our fans.
p.s. Lines is also an important player.

We were 2nd when he got injured in january and we finished 2nd albeit closing the gap on barnet from january until the end of the season. Not sure but i think christmas was still in december that year?
