We moderate a forum in our free time for your benefit and you want us to explain to this extent? Well done for using the exact correct phrasing to make your point. Come on, it's pretty damn obvious why it was removed and it had to be. I follow the rules and have no objection to you or other mods removing whatever you feel like. However, yes some clarification would be nice since the iFollow T&C's, which are available on all EFL club sites, including Bristol Rovers (link below) do not state an exception to using iFollow with a VPN or any software to change your device geographical location. www.bristolrovers.co.uk/terms-and-conditions/So no, it's not obvious to me why it was removed. Well, since I removed it I will do my best to give you as full an explanation as I can since you appear to need one.... It looked like it could get Gaschat in the sh**e and because I don't know any better I went safety first.

It doesn't bother me that you've done what you need to do to protect the forum. What is kind of bothering me is that it has been discussed in such a way that my thread was suggesting undertaking illegal activity, which is completely false. That and now fanboy is telling me I'm supposed to know why It's been removed despite this, I am at a loss.

I'm fine not having commentary to be honest, but it would be nice to track the current score so the cameraman doesn't have to look at the scoreboard every so often. Scoreboard and time would be very useful. I got caught short the other night, had to go for a tom t*t and missed the first Oldham goal. I only knew they had scored because when I came back I happened to read through Twitter.

I think iFollow are similar to Sky, in that they have to announce certain broadcasting restrictions due to contract obligations etc, but in reality they don't really care how you watch the games, as long as you are paying them. I know people who have 'illegal' Sky set-up's in their homes in Europe, that they pay for, but I have never heard of Sky closing them down.

It's dodgy ground, everyone knows that and if they host it, they could be legally challenged. Stop being precious and set your own website up about how to infringe on licenses and copyright law and see how long you last before the solicitors letters arrive.

That's pretty much the difference here You pay the club directly to use iFollow. It is not in the T&C's terms of use contract on how you connect to the paid service. Illegal Sky setups are that - illegal. You're not paying the company that is providing the service and therefore infringing on copyright law. The same goes for any sort of illegal online streaming. Ah, maybe my wording wasn't up to scratch. A favourite ploy of Ex-Pats is to get someone in the UK who doesn't have Sky, to get it installed (Granny for example). The Sky subscription is then paid for that address in the UK. The person then just takes the box with them to Europe, connects it up, and watches Sky. Sky are being paid, but the person is watching it in Europe. All Sky are really worried about is getting the money. In reality they couldn't give a toss where you watch it! I think iFollow are similar, in that they don't care where you are watching the games, as long as you are paying the subscription. In theory this is illegal, but Sky and iFollow are not going to go round switching you off as it's only them that will lose money, and money talks.

I've deleted my replies this morning as it is not worthwhile for me to continue the discussion. If anyone wants to discuss iFollow with me, please feel free to contact me in PM. I have asked the EFL a few questions which would resolve the matter.
Have a great day all.

It's basically Sky TV (the Irish version) with all movies, sports etc as well as additional sports channels such as BT Sports, BeIN Sports, OSN, Fox Sports etc plus all box office events. The servers/company are based somewhere in Greece. I pay about 30 euros a month for it but I doubt any of that goes to Sky!

Does anyone know if you can watch the game after it's been on ifollow. Such as catch up or on demand??? If you pay to watch it live then you can apparently watch a full recording of the game later according to blurb, although there doesn't seem an option to actually select that as far as I can see.

I just checked (on iPhone) app and if you select the results Results tab at the bottom of the page you get the option to watch full replay and highlights of each game. If you just select videos, I can only see highlights and extended highlights. Once the clocks change the time difference from here will be greater therefore I am hoping to use the replay option after the evening games. The problem is you see the result when you go to find the replay! I would like the ability to view the full replay as soon as possible without knowing the score! Under the video options there is no mention of the result so may have to do that the morning after evening games to just see the highlights. Although I don't know how long after each game you can view either the highlights, extended highlights or full reply so will have to follow this up after the next game.

If I click the replay option I get a message saying I need to upgrade my subscription to watch it even though I've already paid once to watch the game. It seems that option may only work if you've paid the full annual subscription, although the individual match blurb suggests otherwise.

The Plymouth game full reply loaded up for me, but then I pay the full annual subscription. I get that annoying you need to upgrade your subscription message whenever I try to watch our games on the iPad. It has always worked fine if watching on iPhone or laptop but for some reason I cannot watch on my iPad? Still haven't worked out why!
