When I first saw this thread I thought someone was about to suggest Harry here. Thank goodness it wasn't. DC would be mad to go to Birmingham, as Somersetgas said, it's worse than Leeds. UTG! I doubt it'll happen, but for what it's worth, I genuinely believe DC turned down Leeds because he believed we were going places. I also think over the last 2-3 months that has been shattered and I honestly wouldn't be at all surprised to see him go to Birmingham if they came knocking. Also worth noting Leeds is the other side of the country to his home in Portsmouth area... Birmingham wouldn't be such a move.

DC going is one thing but Redknapp here that's a no no as far as I'm concerned. But as they say it's a funny old game! UTG!

Harry Redknapp being useless is now accepted folklore and it's all bollocks.
He took West Ham to 5th in the Premier League and the UEFA Cup, took Pompey into the Prem and won the FA Cup, had two 4th places with Spurs in the Prem (and was unlucky to miss out on a Champions League slot because Chelsea took priority), and then even got QPR into the Prem.
He spent a lot of money. More money than some of those clubs had, but he wasn't the Finance Director. He asked for, and was given, the money and spent it to great effect.
He signed and developed loads of top players and was a great motivational manager.
If the FA had chosen him instead of Hodgson, we might have finally been able to see what the England team could have done.
I know it's reported he took bungs, and fiddled his tax, but I don't think he is the only member of that particular club.
Too late now though. He's past his best.

He would have made a great England manager. For me the main ingredients in an England manager are to understand and embrace the English culture, have good man management skills and create a team environment. I think tactics etc are secondary when it comes to international football.
