Bullshit maybe? You do have history after all So whats your name on OTIB then ? Why is that relevant? What’s yours? I’ve mainly been attempting to engage in some genuine conversation with you chaps following claims of BCFC being backed by dodgy cash which nobody has seriously responded to and I’ve been met with petty insults and requests to ban me just because I’m a “dirty Ted”

Also another difference is that the al qadis are bringing investment into the country that will benefit the local area, Landsdown is taking profits elsewhere so he doesn't have to pay tax, completely unethical and no comparison between the two. Not entirely sure, but I’m fairly confident that, to date, SL has done a little bit more for the City of Bristol than WAQ.

In fairness, if weez talking monetary investment in bristol i don't think anyone will argue with that.

The aim, if you're at all interested, is to create a sustainable club that doesn't rely on outrageous donations. Probably a completely alien concept to teds such as you

AG is now generating income from many non football related streams As for outrageous donations, there aren’t many clubs that generate a profit so all owners have to dip into their own pockets, or take out a Wonga loan to fund a shortfall.

Shortfall ? Hundreds of millions !

It will take a good while for AG to pay back the amount the Lansdown has invested so far. There are more clubs in the championship and bottom half of the prem that have invested less and are further forward in both infrastructure and league position and have a much more sustainable structure that would mean if the owner walked away the club would still exist away from administration.
How much has SL put in so far including stadium regen? £300m? And you are still in the championship and have only been back there 3 or so years. Nothing to really shout about to be honest. You have gone nowhere.

You have gone nowhere. Not shouting about anything. I agree for the amount spent on the playing side historically progress has been slow at best. I do think our recruitment has improved immeasurably more recently with a decent blend of first team additions and younger ones that will hopefully develop in the future Nobody can say we aren’t in a far better position now with the redeveloped AG to move in the right direction re sustainability and hopefully the coming years will prove that

Ok, genuine question. Considering the money that has been spent and invested. Would you say you have underachieved or are under achieving? Historically, apart from 2 seasons in the top flight in the 70s, you have spent more time in the championship or equivalent, especially since 2000. Would you say you have progressed?

It was just a bodged up old stadium a small step up from the mem. With all the revamping im surprised the "Bristol city" writing in the seats at the old open end has not been removed. First time I saw the stand I thought that looks alright but the lame logo was embarrassing ,like a five year old had designed it. Im sure plenty of city fans thought the same secretly. Now the stand looks as odd in the stadium as the south stand tent does at the Mem ! Im sure the future plans involve demolishing the houses behind and building a bigger stand there that matches in with the rest of the ground. After all Trashton needs to be bigger to host all that Europa league football little Lee has promised.

Yep. The Lansdown stand which could hold the entire capacity of the Mem looks as odd as a marquee.
Perhaps with WAQ and his wealth which makes you, what was it 6th richest club in England?, you will come up and you can have a look at it first hand

Steve Lansdown became owner in 2008 The year you reached The Championship Play Off Final. You haven't come remotely close to achieving that since, and have also been relegated and struggled in League One on a few occasions since. Thats not an improvement, and in my eyes that going backwards.

The large main stand at Trashton replaced the old Williams main stand. I was referring to the stand that replaced the large open terrace which once housed away fans..at the greville smyth park end of the stadium.
The good thing about the lansdown stand is when city get relegated back to league one sometime in the future .You guys will be able to close up the rest of the ground and all sit in the one stand.

Sorry, misread your post Yes the Atyeo is the lesser of all stands, but we’re limited with what can be done there at present Last time we were in L1 our average attendance was just under 12.5k and that was when the capacity was reduced due to the redevelopment so even with that number we couldn’t quite fit
