I applaud the efforts being made. You should always focus on what you can do at any given time, not what you can't. Small steps can turn into miles. or a never ending marathon Well, as progress should be never ending i am in favour of your reposte. Well said.

Lots of ideas put forward but I just want a new stadium when the likes of season ticket card readers, decent bar/ food outlets and roofs will all hopefully be provided. “We will continue to ask for suggestions because, as a club, we believe we should be listening to our fan base and work with them to improve both the matchday experience and the facilities at The Mem. Classic!!!!!!!!!!!! Does this mean the new build isn't starting next week then? Has anyone suggested they start it next week?

"The toilets at The Mem have also been under scrutiny" Does that mean they have got me on film watering on the floor?

We're owned by a Jordanian banking family worth millions and we're suppose to applaud them because they are investigating whether they can afford to hand out plastic macs or not?

I find it a bit patronising to supporters to say the suggestion box has gone well after. A] the UWE debacle B] The training ground debacle C] The top 6 budget debacle. At least the fu***** pa system is being sorted.

Feels a bit like a distraction technique: throwing a bunch of low cost token gestures in the hope we'll not notice that we're still playing football in a ramshackle old stadium. The thing is it'll probably work on a reasonable proportion of fans!

The thing is it'll probably work on a reasonable proportion of fans! Cant win can they. Assuming plain sailing it would still take a few years to do Them Mem be it in one go or peice meal. I guess they should do nothing for the fans and they would get moaned at for that. This and all the Tbings they have done at The Mem is more than anyone managed in the wbole 20 years prior to the Al-Qadis turning up. It might not be what we want ideally right now, but I want to beleive this is for the short term and to recognise us whilst bigger things are prepared. Of course it would be easier and cheaper for them to do nothing, because the ITKers want to tell us they dont want to spend money, they want out, consortiums want in. If thats true, why bother at all

It looks to me as if the new CD is basically implementing what should have been done months ago. Little things go a long way way with the fans, however if we get to Xmas and nothing has materialised on the new training ground or redeveloped Mem I would start to ask questions.
Behind the scenes I am told bills havnt been paid from back in January, people are owed a lot of money for work carried out at the training ground. This doesn't bode well for the 'billionaire ' owners!

Found a note in the corridors of power last home game. Obviously meant for the suggestion box. Dear Santa, Please can I have a new stadium at the UWE. Thank you, Wael.

Great stuff. Trust gas heads to turn this into a conspiracy about the stadium. This takes time so it's prudent to investigate options short term.
If anything, the statement gave me more confidence things will start moving as they seem reluctant to invest in changes which seem significantly structural - implies there's a good reason coming up why they might not want to build roofs or update clubhouses.
