I would like a new chairman that communicates more clearly with the fans. I would like Wael to update us on the stadium and training ground. Also more transparancy around the financial situation at the club. Dins my friend, businessmen do not divulge financial information willy-nilly as it may affect their holdings. Just a statement on the likely timescales for all improvements to BRFC would suit me  Something better then saying the £10m loan is not a loan but an investment in the form of a loan would be nice. The whole takeover thing has been a mass deception in my eyes |

I would like Wael and Hamer to appear on the Jeremy Kyle show and take the lie detector. Now that would be fun to watch.
Perhaps they could take a DNA test to see if they had any GAS blood in them as well!!

So the vibe around the supporters has taken a nose dive of late. News of the stadium collapse, a poor transfer window and inconsistency on the field has led to rumours flying around of other consortiums, take overs, no financing from the current owners and also now no training ground. Combine that with people now saying DC should go its all feeling a bit doom and gloom and sour. Personally, I am pretty happy still, we are back in L1, with a decent manager and a relatively stable future at present. Granted, results have been poor but I think that we have now levelled off and DC needs to and is rebuilding, a lot like he did in the conference, except this time its in a much tougher league. I don't believe DC has suddenly become a poor manager in 1 year or that he is out of his depth. A decent Christmas and transfer window in Jan could put us right in the mix or at worse another top 12 finish with a good foundation to have a good go next year. For others, they aren't so positive and some are demanding answers from the board about some/all of the things mentioned above. So if you could hear just 2 answers from the board to questions you have, what would they be? Would the answers install a little more faith in them and the club? I just wondered as lately, with some of the things being written here, it seems to be spiralling back to the toxic levels of 2012-2014 when the OF was running and, when we were in a far worse position than we are now. A penny for your thoughts. Please put your sensible head on again - it is this sort of question/post that fuels unrest in what is a quite normal passage of events Rome was not built in a day - neither will a stadium or training ground |

Are you a policeman 👮 Paul, just don't see the need for his tone, he's welcome to his opinion of course, but when others complain of it as well via the complaint function, I chose to give him a verbal warning. Why people are struggling to be civil, especially towards the mods is beyond me. |

Something to ponder.
Top six budget.
The assumption has been that if all the budgets of all the league one clubs were put in order of amount then Rovers wanted to be amongst the top six.
However.
It could be that if the budgets of the teams that finished in the top six last year were looked at (maybe an average calculated ?) and Rovers then put forward a budget that matched those top six finishing teams ?
Sheffield united
Bolton Wanderers
Scunthorpe united
Fleetwood town
Bradford city
Millwall.

Please read your first para again - and then say it is not inflammatory - as you well know there are plenty who feed off this sort of sentiment to do our Club, fans, directors, and owners down. |

Both Hamer and DC thought they were setting out a decent budget, then they both later said the market was steeper than they thought it would be, for various reasons that we discussed before. It was a mistake but it was a reasonable one. If Hamer was lying DC was lying, too. Would it be reasonable for people on here to call you a liar, every time you stated something that wasn't actually true, even if you were stating those things in good faith? |
