Not saying he should go but think he needs help like Trollope had with lenny Lawrence someone who has been there and got the t Shirt who can give words of advise from away from the front line Got to be Sam Allardyce oh sorry we don't have any money to spend do we.... well according to some people on here.......

Conference season....lost 5 games , conceded 34 goals. League Two season....lost 13 games , conceded 46 goals. League One season....lost 16 games , conceded 70 goals. This season 15 games..lost 9 games , conceded 29 goals. The fans are having to get used to more and more defeats and more and more goals conceded ,its not easy to get used to. It could be a lot worse, you could support the sh!t.......

Fans need to be realistic about us as a club and what we can currently achieve in our current situation. Promotion from the conference straight away - many clubs fail this. Promotion from League 2 straight away - who would have thought that? In the play off hunt until the final games last year - over achieved based on budget. Rovers fans have billy big bollocks syndrome and expect us to win every game and have the league wrapped up by mid August. 3 defeats on the bounce is literally nothing compared to some of the sh** other clubs go through yet here we have this toss pot making embarrassing threads like this. There’s nothing wrong with wanting us to win every game, but we’re not going too and some people just can’t seem to accept that. DC has done a lot for this club and he deserves our backing through tough times, not morons calling radio bristol and posting threads calling for his head.

Stop being silly it was a reasonable suggestion and after all we are spending lots on backroom staff and a short term contract say till June 2018 for someone who has vast experience to steady the ship and advise on recruitment would pay dividends

Let's all be nice and pleasant on this thread, please, coz it's a tricky subject.
Also, I'm sure this thread will get bumped at some stage coz of it's classic subject matter, so post stuff that you have faith will stand the test of time.
Thanks. You might have to ban me then because I'm really struggling not to abuse the OP right now. This is the first time since DC took charge that we have ever lost 3 games on the trot. His POST is absolute f**king horseshit. Have to correct you, it's not. Leyton Orient - Oxford - Accrington at the start of life in the 2nd. And what happened after that?

Club has stood still for a million years off the pitch with our ramshackle ground the worst in the league-almost.Last thing we want is to lose DC who despite the board's lack of ambition is a constant.Needs to improve his signings though. Both keepers average and Nicholls simply not good enough. How much did he cost? DC must stay for now at least. He must be hurting not only with the constant failures off the pitch-(What happened to the new Director appointed to oversee the new build as he had done at Wembley)- but with our very poor displays of late and the lack of passion from both the board and players.

BTW for what its worth, if we did get somebody in, DC would walk as fast as he could, who would blame him ?

Imagine my shock seeing Midlandgas with a terrible take on something.
If it's not his "pc gone mad" takes, it's his incredible selective memory.
I don't remember seeing this much criticism when we were in the conference.
Yes we've struggled to score in the last three games without our best attacking player. Yes we're a bit rigid in centre midfield because we haven't got many options. Yes our centre halves aren't in great form at the moment.
It's been a lot worse. Tom Parkes on the wing under John Ward anyone?
Let's all have a drink, and relax.

DC in for me. Just needs to realise changing the side every game is not working with the current group of players. as a whole they are not good enough, or just not performing. The players do also need to look at themselves.
The defending is shambles. we won 6-O, bring Lockyer unreservedly straight back in and we lose 3 on the bounce. DC pick the same 4 that last kept you a clean sheet.
Midfield we have Bodin and Sercombe, the rest look so average.
Strikers, well I watch the games and think which Rory, Ellis is going to turn up.
it's frightening situation. Board must give DC money and sign 4 or 5 players who doing good things in league below or maybe and experienced head who struggling to get game time in the championship. Either way money need a to be spent on first 11.

Yes his history is impressive but that is what it is history it has no bearing on the present or the future burying your head in the sand and keep looking back only puts pressure on the present. After all alf ramsey won the world cup in 1966 and was quaternary finalist in 1970 but that didn't help when England didn't qualify in 1974. You have to look at the here and now and see he needs help to sort out a situation he has never been subjected to

DC - I give him this season. Will we splash a bit of cash on the team in tsfr window? If not then I suspect he maybe elsewhere in less than 12 months anyway. Maybe the person who started this thread, or the moronic mark who was on rad bristol earlier should apply for the job

Enough s enough s enough we have no idea how to play no tactics and a dead loss of a manager we have lost 3 games in a week with a combined score of nil six we really must be the laughing stock of football at the moment and I have been very patient until the last 8 days now I am totally watered off and for the who say who am I , I tell you I have followed the gas since the early 70's and this must be the worst set of performances ever we can't pass we can't tackle we can't score and every week we have water poor comments from the manager with poor excuses for the latest s&@£e performance how about all the leak gas that go home and away every week we / they deserve better so do be a man for once and resign now and not wait to be sacked utg Stop when whinging like a little girl , we’ve lost 3 in a row so Dam what ? We’re mid table and only a few points off where we were last season and your ready to throw in the towel on a manager who’s won back to back promotions followed by a top ten finish in league 1 ? Over the last 3 seasons we collected more points than any other professional team in the country , we were top half in league 1 two games ago and now you want to get rid of our manager? go and sit down and have a Dam word with yourself.

We’re a third into the season and I’m confident that DC can sort this out without help.
