DC has already shown the 3 years prior that he doesn’t need help. Fans need to be realistic about us as a club and what we can currently achieve in our current situation. Promotion from the conference straight away - many clubs fail this. Promotion from League 2 straight away - who would have thought that? In the play off hunt until the final games last year - over achieved based on budget. Rovers fans have billy big bollocks syndrome and expect us to win every game and have the league wrapped up by mid August. 3 defeats on the bounce is literally nothing compared to some of the sh** other clubs go through yet here we have this toss pot making embarrassing threads like this. There’s nothing wrong with wanting us to win every game, but we’re not going too and some people just can’t seem to accept that. DC has done a lot for this club and he deserves our backing through tough times, not morons calling radio bristol and posting threads calling for his head. Yes his history is impressive but that is what it is history it has no bearing on the present or the future burying your head in the sand and keep looking back only puts pressure on the present. After all alf ramsey won the world cup in 1966 and was quaternary finalist in 1970 but that didn't help when England didn't qualify in 1974. You have to look at the here and now and see he needs help to sort out a situation he has never been subjected to The present will soon be history will it have any bearing on the future. Who knows? I think DC has experienced the whole gambit Relegation loss of league status and two promotions, what exactly hasn't he been subjected to.

At the end of the day we have lost 3 games on the spin. It is disappointing but it is way too early for calls saying DC needs help imo. Also I think Henbury called it right earlier, DC would be gone the minute he felt undermined and quite right too he has more than enough credit in the bank imo.

Anyone who thinks sacking DC now would be for the good of our club needs a check up from the neck up. If we’re bottom of the league at Christmas then maybe but it’s october and we’re mid table for f**ks sake. This forum is sh**.

Our problem is Wael is clearly unwilling to invest vast amounts on the playing squad. Many fellow Gasheads I have spoken to don't want Clarke sacked but claim he has not had much money to spend.

Did the presenter say 'conceded by Tony Parkes'? We'd sunk low enough that media didn't get players names right

Plus offers apaprently turned down for Bodin

I don't get the tinkering every week. It's not as though we have important CL games in midweek. He should know his best team by now and play it or we'll never get any momentum going.

£300 for Taylor £150 for Smith ( add on's) £ 100 for Wilson ( add's on). which makes nearly £600;000 income since DC took over. Since DC took over he have spent pound for pound £100 k more than we have received. If you offered national division to division one football to Orient Tranmere Torquay for £100 k they will bite your hands off.
Once again somebody above our manager needs to look at the above facts and stop sacking or even considering this debate..

We’re a third into the season and I’m confident that DC can sort this out without help. I hope you are right

The last few months have shown we have some absolute cretins for supporters. I've witnessed some dog sh** football supporting Rovers, particularly in the early 2000s, but none of that would stop me going. However the pathetic over reactions of men twice my age is making me fall out of love with Rovers. We were more together as a club when only 5000 turned up.
