With lots of rumours going around and little being done on the surface to dismiss them I think we have to listen to DC. He is an ambitious manager and wouldn't stay with us if Wael has gone cold on the club. TBH all I have heard him say a couple of weeks was 'the owners are working very hard for this football club'this would seem at odds with some of the rumours posted on here. I think the time to worry is if he makes negative comments as I'm sure he will if the situation as changed.

Bit weird that a certain group of people love slating the new regime as often as they can, with nothing to back it up.

Probably true but DC does seem a little grumpy in interviews lately.

To be honest he has always been a bit grumpy in interviews. Daft questions are not his thing.

You don't bite the hand that feeds you - and he won't walk away from a five year contract (or be allowed to).

Wouldn’t want the truth to get in the way of a good rumour seems to be the forum moto in here this season. If DC says he’s happy with the way the clubs being sorted out then that’s good enough for me, we’re only there at matches he’s there every day.

Probably true but DC does seem a little grumpy in interviews lately. Probably because he gets asked stupid questions from the plonkers who work for radio Bristol.

Has anyone else noticed that the interviewers seem to tiptoe around DC with their questions of late, but it doesn’t seem to be working, and it still makes for slightly uncomfortable viewing. I know it must get rather tedious being asked the same questions over and over again, but quite honestly what does he expect them to ask? They’re hardly going to discuss sporting ethics or ask his opinion as to whether he believes crowd tribal behaviour is innate or learned. Of course they are going to ask how he saw the game and what individual players have done. I think he could conduct himself with a little more decorum as he has no real need to be so spiky. I appreciate that it is a high pressure job but it’s almost as if he thinks there is a media conspiracy to bring him down....OMG, he does read this forum after all!

Bit weird that a certain group of people love slating the new regime as often as they can, with nothing to back it up. Not helped by two ex-directors spreading falsehoods Why do people refer to others without naming them? Can we stop the cryptic crap, i assume you are referring to Edward Ware (former Director BRFC) and Brian Seymour-Smith (former SC Director) you can name them you know! I think the issue here is that BSS was mentioned in a thread on here recently as someone most fans trust, so i think you can understand why supporters have believed the stories he has told them. The questions are: Is there any truth in them? Why are they telling people? and importantly.... Are they raising valid concerns we should worry about? Enjoy your evening.

I think it’s becayse when alQ bought us those people saw that they were very rich and thought that they would spend millions on players. Even though WAQ never once said they would. Where as we all knew Higgs and co didn’t have much so there wasn’t as much pressure on them.

But according to the rumours the hand hasn't got enough money to feed him or keep him in his 5 year contract. Remember?

There certainly seems to be a coordinated, concerted effort to destabilise the current owners over the last few days.
As Mr Sugar says, I like and trust BSS and many others on here have said they do too.
That said, plenty on here have also said how BSS has been cut out and sidelined so does he as actually know anything?? Where is he getting his information from if he is being kept in the dark??
I do not trust Ed Ware.

Part of the issue for me is in the first 6 months the Al Q's and hamer were often quoted as saying that staying at the mem isn't sustainable for the clubs future, since the UWE debacle ended, staying at the mem is now the preferred choice- something doesn't add up here for me and I believe that it is a funding issue.

Well I saw the first interview Wael did and that didn’t give me the impression we were another Man City. I think you and others got a bit ahead of yourselves and got carried away by the sound of it.

Agreed. I made this point when the news broke about staying at the mem. Our chairman said it plenty of times. I still trust in the alqadi’s but everything is very static.

Most owners of companies tell their staff or "customers" very little, it seems most football fans think football is a whole new ball game (excuse the pun!)
