In the 80’s/90’s we used to get loads of us having short stop overs in small towns after an away game. Back in the day we had cars and mini buses stopping off at places like Marlborough, Chippenham and Tewkesbury to name a few. I’m exiled now so not in the loop so to say, but do lads still stop off for a few beers or does everyone just run back to their cars and drive straight home at the final whistle. Seem to remember Rovers got a mention on the front page of the Sun when fans ruined a wedding evening do at Tewksbury after a final game of the season at Bury. Nothing to do with me I might add! Cheers. UTG

What are "working classes"? Are they the ones that put ice in my G and T down at the Golf Course?

Ah yes I must remember to stop off for a beer every now and again so I remain workin class. What an odd post - what has going for a beer got to do with class???

Or any eastern European, plenty of Portugese in the hospitality trade as well I am led to believe. After all I am a flat cap wearing, real ale drinking type who avoids the trendy cocktail and craft beer type of establishments

Koff More at home in the supporters club bar or the Drapers/Annexe than many of the pseudo trendy lounges along the Gloucester Rd.
