I honestly think one of us could do a better job than DC, as why can't he just pick his best starting 11 in an away game for once?

Shocking stats but thankfully we are in November now and can be looked at in Jan.
Luckily we've scored enough goals to be in a decent position otherwise we'd be in big trouble.
Keep a bit of faith though, DC has earned the right to be given a chance to turn it round.

You can shout and scream all you like but no body is listening I can be relied upon to cock up pretext when I am angry Becoming all to familiar at the moment with our sh**e results sh**e results that see us closer to the play offs than relegation in league 1 ? I don’t see things as this week or this month as far as football managers go I tend to look at the bigger picture. It helps me refrain from knee jerk reactions about “sh** results” one week great results the next. The fact that DC has won half his games as our manager drawn a quarter and lost a quarter suggests the bloke knows what he’s doing and is doing a good job. Tonight was a sh**e result Saturday was a good one. Reality check needed for some. Your up and down like a whores draws Midland have we got our Rovers back or havent we ? should he stay ? should he go .? Well ? Or shall we wait until the next match see then ?

In terms of our league position, where did you expect us to be?? Before the season I was expecting us to be solid mid table but sniffing around the playoffs.

As a football team we arent doing that bad....we are badly missing our best player (like every other club in th world would) and DC must not believe his luck that a player we chased all summer (sweeney) looks a complete shadow of his former self compared to last seas (off the field problems? who knows!?). What is largely adding to the fans frustration is no UWE, a bumbling chairman and a board with no interest in player investment when we finally thought we’d shaken off our ragbag nickname...be very careful what you wish for, DC is without doubt the best thing we’ve got!

Great post, we've lost some hope.Right now we need strong leaders to inspire the fans because the fans don't have any control of the situation.

Is Nichols a shadow though or just the same player but has failed to score a couple more goals than he did this time last season?

The last few seasons has shown it takes the first half of the season before he plumps on a settled side then we get better. My only criticism is that he doesn't learn from that. He's still a keeper for me. And would trust Hamer to pick a replacement? Well end up with the guy who he said was completely unsuited for the role.

Our manager has given us back-to-back promotions and a very solid midtable L1 season in the last 3 years. We’re four points off the play-offs in L1 now. Sacking DC at this stage would be absolute **** lunacy, and I hope once you’ve calmed down you’ll realise that. Are things perfect? No. Are we conceding too many goals? Yes. Are we in the end of Buckle/McGhee/Ward stage with DC? Not even close.

It was a sound purchase on paper though topper....decent record in lg1 and worked with stewie previously to give the green light on attitude...DC would have been very happy to land him imo...he hasn’t started much worse than the snake in two divisions higher has he, so there’s certainly hope for improvement

On the whole I do myself. Who would you have dropped for Ellis? Drop Gaffney who was our MOTM last sat or Nichols who has just scored in his lst 2 games? Not sure what didference it would have made regardless considering we conceded 4 goals. I honestly think you have a memory loss problem if you think we could do better than DC and stating what you would have done differently after the event doesn't help anyone.
