Not really but he seems to be seen by some as our rolls royce and as a senior player you would expect a bit more of him in a game like this. But you didnt go to the match? I was working but my colleague who went said lines was among our best players tonight. Didn't sound like it.

I went last night and I wish I hadn't bothered.
I cannot believe that DC played a4-3-3 formation and, to top it all, selected Byron Moore. The result was Swindon overran our midfield and pressed us high in our own third. The defence were reduced to passing back to Smith or hoofing high balls to Telford. He did his best but as usual was up against a tall, imposing centre back. Ellis did his best, but was reduced to dropping behind the half way line to get the ball.
I don't think Burn is good enough for league football, he stands off his man and allows them time to turn and make the next move. Watching defenders play Ellis and Rory, the one constant is they're almost inside their shirts, and the refs let them get away, with holding, hugging and pulling, so that's what our defenders should do.
We seemed utterly clueless, and the best team won. I was going to get up early on Saturday and spend a lot of time and money travelling to Scumthorpe. To watch that crap? - Nah, I don't think so.

The 433 needs to be abandoned at all costs. Why the Shrewsbury game want the catalyst for this I'll never know.

Hey ho just another run of the mill defeat and another 4 goals conceded at least we are becoming consistent Taxi for D C please You really are the epitome of the absolutely unbearable modern football fan. Three very, very successful seasons under DC but as soon as we hit our first real rocky patch under him that’s it, get rid and get that BRFC revolving door going again. How about we show a little bit of faith in one of our most successful managers ever? We’re in a comfortable position in the league and DC at least has the opportunity to make a few changes in January to help turn things around. What’s for sure is that the man has certainly earned enough respect (or so I thought) than to have the likes of you saying “taxi for DC” like he’s another Buckle, McGhee, Penney etc. Agree. Whilst I respect fellow supporters and their opinions, the fact is you only have to manage a club for two seasons and suddenly you are one of the longest serving managers in the football league! (DC is 13th in the list after three and a half years) Guardiola could win the treble this season, but then if his team finished 5th next season he will be gone. The question I want to ask those who want DC out, is do you remember how bad it was before? Do you want to us go and bring in journeymen on 4k a week again? Also who is available that would be any better? DC doesn't and wont get every signing right but it amazes me that people still want to see us bring in well know names. The same sort of players that came here just for the money and look how that ended up?!

The 433 needs to be abandoned at all costs. Why the Shrewsbury game want the catalyst for this I'll never know. The fact that DC favored this position in previous seasons, especially away from home is what confuses me the most. We have the players to play the 5-3-2 formation. It was only used in the wrong game against Rochdale a struggling team who had no interest in attacking once they went ahead. Ok we may not have scored as many goals if we used this formation but surely we would have conceded a lot less? The 4-3-3 formation is ok to use at home (maybe not against the best teams) as we are winning home games.

I cannot believe how bad we played as a team last night.
Ryan Sweeney was at fault for 2 of the goals and i wonder what has changed from the domineering Centre half we had last season
Moore...... Please DC don't play him as a winger, he can't cross, he can't go past a player, he can only do backward passes and he defo can't tackle..
Lines.... you cannot play such a lightweight player just in front on the back four... again he cannot tackle or bottles a head on tackle.
Harrison.... Did little Centre forward work to help Telford who in the end went back into midfield to get the ball
The rest of the team had no system to play to that i could see, just lump and hope.
Very Very poor DC, you need to go back to basics with this lot and just make us hard to beat and hope we nick one the other end

Worst player of the Darrell Clarke return to the league era. Such a shame it was Cristiano Montano who had one less year on his contract.

I'd go further and say he's one of the poorest players I've seen in a Rovers shirt.

That is a understatement Hugo. i would say he is the poorest player in recent times in a Rovers shirt It shouldn't really matter, coz anyone can be poor sat on the bench. The main problem with Moore is, he's got the only position in the squad where we don't have a back-up.

When was the last time we saw a Rovers youngster given a run of games by DC? We must be one of the few league sides who never ever plays youngsters. Why Broom never gets any game time but Moore does is one of Rovers mysteries you'll never answer.

Am I the only one who is glad we lost last night? Don’t get me wrong I hate it when we lose but this trophy has divided our fans and caused some very nasty things to be said between fellow gasheads. As far as I can see we all want what is best for Rovers. Perhaps now we are out of this divisive competition we can get back to supporting our club and focusing on turning round our current poor run of form.

DC can't do a lot wrong too a lot of posters on here but he ain't doing a lot right either so where do we go from here? Only so much DC can do. If you're looking for people to blame the players on the pitch are a good place to start. But who signed them who picks the side and tactics

Hey ho just another run of the mill defeat and another 4 goals conceded at least we are becoming consistent Taxi for D C please DC is facing a testing time and we need to support him and anyway whose going to pay 5 years salary due under contract. No taxis yet but agree he must do better in the January window. I think you will find under league rules we are only obliged to pay 1 years salary

You are getting it wrong it's not the losing but the way we are losing that worries those who go to games The defence is a shambles and when our best defender is your centre forward what does that tell you. In the last 3 games we have conceeded 11 goals to a 2 reserve squads and a 5th division team that is the worry Our defence hasn't a clue how to defend noattercliffe who is picked we have no wingers our midfield is overrun so we have little service to the front 2 Things have to change and quickly before we are embroiled in a relegation struggle

That was ######### awful. School boy goalkeeping and defending. We were so ineffective in midfield, no width and no creativity. And no goal threat. Conceding yet another 4 goals . Ffs. By Christmas we could be bottom of div 1. So why post on the DC thread we're doomed if we get rid of DC, as it sounds like we're doomed anyway! Because I do not see the benefit in getting rid of DC (who would come in and be any-better ?). To be clear, DC said he needed at least 11 new players, who were better than what he currently had from the start of the season, for whatever reason, WAQ obviously did not make enough money available, which equated to five or six coming in, which was not good enough. I hope WAQ, stops hiding, starts talking to the supporters, and releases funds for the January transfer window. Last night was awful, fact.
