Interesting fact from the Evening Post coverage of the farce tonight: Bristol Rovers are the first league club to go 34 games without a draw in all competitions since 1948, when the post-war record of 41 was set by … Bristol Rovers Would be a good stat if we hadn’t lost to two league 2 sides and an under 21 squad in the space of just 8 days. there is something very wrong with this squad, it has the heebiejeebies.

I really thought the strongest team possible was going to play tonight. The number of defeats lately is not good and a win would have done confidence good. Morale has to be at a real low at the moment. 6 defeats in the last seven games..not good by any means.
nine matches till the January window opens. How many defeats will D.C. be allowed of those nine before he is sacked ? After all if you are to replace a manager you need to give the new man a chance to bring some new faces in.
Im guessing 4 defeats from the next five games will see D.C. given the boot.
Lets hope that doesn't happen and Rovers can win four out of those five.

Listened on the radio i went to pick up my daughter at half time came back got a beer had a water and the second half was under way. I honestly thought lines had been subbed at half time. Didn't realize he was still on the pitch till about 30 minutes in.

He has earned and deserves more respect than some are giving him.

DC can't do a lot wrong too a lot of posters on here but he ain't doing a lot right either so where do we go from here? Only so much DC can do. If you're looking for people to blame the players on the pitch are a good place to start.

Hey ho just another run of the mill defeat and another 4 goals conceded at least we are becoming consistent Taxi for D C please DC is facing a testing time and we need to support him and anyway whose going to pay 5 years salary due under contract. No taxis yet but agree he must do better in the January window.

If we can't afford to pay for a fence then we've got no chance of paying DC's 5 year contract up!
(In DC we trust)

Wingers would not have helped us with all these goals conceded, probably make it worse. I really fear we are on a slippery slope and playing these league 2 sides next season. We need leadership on and off the pitch because without we are in trouble, I think it would, two solid banks of four and back to basics for players low in confidence BUT we havent even got that choice when moore is potentially the worse lg1 winger in the league and DC doesn’t seem to fully rate or trust broom If it was a winger like Montano who tracked back then I would agree with you, but he is in the minority I think. But when you see that 4-3-3 formation and only Ellis having any clue about defending it really is no surprise we concede for fun. I am sure I read that one of the development squad was a defensive midfielder which makes me question DC if we don't at least give the kid a chance?

That was ######### awful. School boy goalkeeping and defending. We were so ineffective in midfield, no width and no creativity. And no goal threat. Conceding yet another 4 goals . Ffs. By Christmas we could be bottom of div 1.

No point worrying about a nothing Cup
We were poor tonight, Byron Moore awful as usual , no idea why he gets a start
Telford was started, no more effective than Nicholls, so that answers that question
Not interested in partaking in a meltdown over this game, majority boycot it anyway so why carp on about it
Get behind DC, look down the road at the value in giving managers time and space and patience to manage......
Not sure the defence has confidence in either keeper which may answer a nagging question over why they aren't as composed as they were in front of Lumley......

Hey ho just another run of the mill defeat and another 4 goals conceded at least we are becoming consistent Taxi for D C please You really are the epitome of the absolutely unbearable modern football fan. Three very, very successful seasons under DC but as soon as we hit our first real rocky patch under him that’s it, get rid and get that BRFC revolving door going again. How about we show a little bit of faith in one of our most successful managers ever? We’re in a comfortable position in the league and DC at least has the opportunity to make a few changes in January to help turn things around. What’s for sure is that the man has certainly earned enough respect (or so I thought) than to have the likes of you saying “taxi for DC” like he’s another Buckle, McGhee, Penney etc.
