I`ve never loved him. I didn`t get where I am today, by loving another man.

The man is our saviour in my opinion, we owe him big time for what he's managed to do with our club. I will support him through thick and thin.

Pleasantly surprised by how many on here are behind him. Fair play.

Yes. He is struggling a bit this season for a number of reasons. 1. His hoped for "leaders" - Sweeney, Lockyer, Lines, Sercombe are all unable to fulfil that role. Sweeney is a shadow of his former self - why is this, I'm sure no-one knows. Lockyer isn't Captain or leader material - yet. Whether he ever will be only time will tell, he needs the other CH to take on that role, and then he is a great co-defender. Lines, perhaps, ought to be able to take on that role with his experience etc, but again it doesn't seem to be in his nature. I hoped Sercombe would have come in and imposed himself more, as I'm sure DC did. 2. His squad players are unable to step up - whether that's through poor recruitment, or the lack of leadership to help them, I don't know. A bit of both probably. 3. The new transfer window rules, making emergency loans impossible outside of the window is preventing him putting either of the above right. Now I now that's the same for everyone, but being faced with 1 and 2 above then DC, and perhaps his ability to get certain players to step up, is very exposed.
DC is still young, and inexperienced at this level. He still has my support to get it right, but he has to find a selection and formation with the existing squad to get us to January still around mid-table, and then recruit well in January. If we are in the drop zone come the end of December, then recruiting and turning it around will be all the harder.

DC would rather pickle his eyes than read or be swayed or influenced by football forums. Quite right too! Theres a reason he's manager of this football club and we forum members are not. I would be no good as a manager and that's why I work on the railway. Henbury would also be no good as a manager, hence he flogs knocked-off computers and sells under-the-counter porn, Hugo is a blanket test-pilot and Bolders, well, best leave that to the imagination. In the same vein I'm sure the Chairman ant the owners would rather pickle their eyes than read forums as well, it's just that they are too polite to say it. Because we all write such I'll-informed tosh on here doesn't mean it should carry any weight with those that matter. Don't forget there's maybe, and at most a couple of hundred active members on this forum, a tiny percentage of the home attendance. J Why should our views and opinions carry any credibility? This Forum is for our enjoyment and entertainment only. We need to accept this.
