To all that contributed to my justgiving page I just wanted to say a massive thank you. It got me 2 lots of the drug then we stopped BUT because I had already started in it, after a 3 month appeal, I have been approved to get it on the NHS now. You know who you are and I can’t thank you enough. I have two infusions 1st and 14th December so won’t be around for a good while. I am not allowed to drink for at least 10 days after and need a carer to watch over me as the Rituximab can kill & quickly but I’ve gone past that tipping point thank you so very much to those who helped, I wish you every good thing you would wish for yourselves.

Many thanks to your generosity of spirit. I feel very rough after and it’s by no means easy. In fact I get scared before and for around a week later as there is no coming back once it’s in your system. It’s my only option though and so I am grateful. I just want my life back thank you so much mate. You were and are a true gentleman

You look after yerself big man. Good stuff. Thank you Jock. Just wish I was not such a pussy when I have the treatments. Makes me feel emasculated & like my first day at school, waiting to see who starts on you. I’m very grateful

Great news KP and all the best with your treatment. Please don't think your a pussey christ I thought I was when I had chemo and that was nothing compared to what you must be going through. Good luck.

Well done KP.One of my favourite posters.Just to share with everyone, this Guy,Edwin Smith is 78 and not well.Sits in a wheel-chair near the new smaller tent and has been a Rovers fan for ever.Knew him in the Oscar era.Spoke to him Sat and he was very down about personal health issues. If you see him at games just make him aware we care.First met him at games in the fifties.Still on board.

To many of us, going to games becomes our only outlet and so it has become with me. I will be suffering cabin fever big time. Don’t know why but I’m bricking it now & wish it could be done tomorrow. Too much time to think. Am in the process of getting a care giver as much will have to change and even my GP has given me my prescriptions up until Feb so that I don’t have to be around viruses in surgery. Lots will have to change and I’m going to have to be mindful of a lot thabk you once again to all who helped me.
