Could be wrong here but as I sadly look at the board of directors for AJIB on my lunch break it now says Hani is the chairman and Wael's old man is the founding chairman but now only a member. Anyone know if things have changed?
If this is a change that has happened recently, could this mean that Abdulkadir no longer makes the key decisions and Hani is now responsible for them, aswell as the purse strings?
I know that Hani has never been keen on the Rovers like Wael is, but if Hani is now in charge of the money (Which could possibly tie in with the timing that the deal for the stadium went through and no developments or updates with the training ground), and as businessman who doesn't really like football, is he willing to invest the funds for the club to progress and put the necessary infrastructure in place? Especially when its a 3rd division side that they most likely will never get their investment back.
Never knew being this doom and gloom could be so much fun...

Hani has always been in charge of the money, just the same as when the ALQs bought the club. Wael has no say in how the bank is run and has no say on how much money there is to spend at Bristol Rovers.

Hani, a greedy super-villain has metal powers, and is spurred onward by religious fanaticism. He is usually kidnapping business leaders to achieve his goals. He has a peculiar affinity for magical items. Samer, a driven super-criminal has fire powers, and is motivated by greed. He is often stealing advanced technology to achieve his goals. He has an odd birthmark. Abdulkader, a persuasive super-criminal is an alien with avian powers, and is driven by insanity. He is always stealing rare valuables to achieve his goals. He has annoyed the gods Wael, a contemplative sorcerer is driven by fear. He employs high magic in his plans, commonly summoning powerful beings to achieve his goals. He has big dreams. www.seventhsanctum.com/generate.php?Genname=villain

More reliable than investing in a football club.

That leaves DC as 007😎

You are thinking of Santa's Tardis, it looks like a grotto but it's huge inside and full of broken Christmas gifts going back to the 70's, all covered in filth waiting to be handed to small children of the Gas tribe.

How can you be so certain about Rovers, have either SH or Wael actually told you this themselves, as I assume they are the only ones who really know at Rovers?

Didn't the chairman say as much on Twentyman, meeting Hani in London to discus the budget or words to that effect.

The Gas are an investment for the family, without the required funding they will not realise any profit however promotion to the championship would increase the revenue substantially, so Hani if you are reading this.... give D.C. a decent wedge to spend and keep Billy and Ellis!

Poor wael sounds like he's the ginger step child given a football club to play with. Please people give him some credit for what he's done.

Firstly...who said Hani Al Qadi held the purse strings ? Is this one of those things that is taken as fact because it has been repeated over and over but is based on no evidence at all ?
I suggest the family are equal partners in the venture ,but Wael is president as he is the one with the football desire within him.
It would appear that on major issues the family discuss the pros and cons then decide between themselves on what gets the go ahead. Some members may be more cavalier with spending than others.
I believe that they set out a basic plan before taking over and will try to stick to that plan as best as possible.
As much as BCFC fans would enjoy it...this is not a pantomime where there are heroes and villians. Its a family business.
