Don’t like the Facebook appreciation page normally but there’s a great 1 hour interview with Sir Rickie posted there (filmed by John Thomson just this afternoon). If I knew how to post a link I would.

Very interesting interview, well worth a listen, interesting that he knows DC quite well.

Also interesting to hear his thoughts on reasons why he didn’t come back to us. Sounds like it could have been possible with his connections to DC but fitness and geography got in the way (if I’ve heard the interview right).

Legend and a definite gas legend. You can't but like him, really interesting interview and to hear his thoughts on his career was fantastic. I wish him all the best with the next step. Arise Sir Rickie. UTG

I guess they decided not to do the post match chat then haha.... Interesting interview , Rickie could teach younger players so many things about the game be a shame if he didn't get involved in coaching or mentoring at some level.
