Would really like to see us make a move for Mo Eisa, not sure if it’s possible or feesable seeing as he has not long signed a contract extension. He’s looked very promising so far this season and surely would be within our budget? I think the direction the club should be taking is investing in young, hungry, promising players, with potential future sell on value to make the investment more calculated risk See even Cheltenham Town can nail down their best players

Twitter has us loaning Kaylen Hinds from Wolfsburg. Formerly a highly rated Arsenal youngster.
Used to play for Stevenage, aged 19. Striker 5ft 10ins.
Gotta say, I've never heard of him.

England U20 player who can play on the left wing. Looked decent for England when I've seen him. Some good English youngsters playing over there at the moment - Jordan Brown at Hannover, Daniele Collinge at Stuttgart, Mandela Egbo at Mönchengladbach and of course Jadon Sancho at Dortmund. Probably some I've forgotten too.

Not true as Darrell doesn’t want a striker 2 wingers cdm and a cb utg The first three you mentioned are likely to be his priority, I must admit to being surprised by the centre back as I would have thought it was one position we have numbers for already unless he wants a replacement for Burn.

If you mean young hungry players who have done well already at league level forget it as their out of our price range. Mo eisa has made a good start to his league career and is on contract until 2020. He wont be thinking to himself if i keep this up mighty bristol rovers will come in for me.

So far we look more likely to get a couple of loanies and no permanent decent signings... It’s a shambles really York have done ok though £125,000 player for free £350,000 on another Luke James Luke James who dc wanted being bumped off by a team looking to be relegated to non league I can see Sercs going in the summer Gaffney off which i don’t blame him if he did I even watched the next Jamie Vardy programme last night and saw Brian Dutton if that’s his name there as a scout for us and still no signings 4 players were signed and gone on to be successful for Peterborough and Stevenage with a centre forward scoring 11 goals in 25 games for them all costing peanuts The board will say it’s bad business to buy in January even though everyone in league 1 has pretty much bought players Why would we pay £125K for a player that was about to be released ?

Apparently Wolfsburg paid £2m for him but after a good pre-season it looks like he only played in their first game before being dropped. It seems a bit random him now joining Rovers unless Bola's recommended him/the club?

This thread sums it up really. It's meant to be a rumour mill, which surely means you post rumours you have actually heard, not just pluck names from thin air!

Be nice to get an interview from DC soon, he’s the only person I really wanna hear from on this matter now tbh, obviously he won’t drop names but might tell us a number of players he wants in and maybe which positions he’s looking to strengthen

The ideal surely is to get in 2-3 players BEFORE the next game. Logically this will be players to go straight into the team (but things with DC are often not logical especially when it comes to signings !) I was shocked to hear that the day after Billy Bodin left DC was meeting up with Hamer to discuss replacements as I had expected that these discussions had already taken place and some signings would be very nearly in the door. I would expect there to be 4 or 5 before the deadline closes and that based on not losing anymore!

DC has spoken about the need for a left sided player and defensive midfielder since the summer, so that is months to prepare.

We may have numbers there (unless Lockyer goes this month?), but I’m not sure we have much quality there. Lockyer has been poor for 85+% of the season, same for Sweeney, Broadbent has been up and down and is very inexperienced, and Menayese is a development player really. I’d like to see us add another CB, personally.
