Where did Bernard post mate? I'd like to read that. Seems like it could be a good signing. Please for DC. Seems like that will be it for Blackpool which is a shame, but fingers crossed we can get a few more in before end of the window. Thanks mate, very classy post

Sounds like it could be fun with him and Ellis in the same changing room -,perhaps SH was right - the rebirth of 'The Crazy Gang'!! Next on DC's list, I've heard, Harry Hill and Barry and Paul Chuckle.

He remembers the firefly thing from the Braintree game....that's got to be a good way to welcome him and his first goal

I don't doubt it and will no doubt play on the right at times (maybe Saturday ? ) but he wasn't D.C.'s intended replacement .He was the missing left sided player that was needed. The Bodin replacement turned the club down last night....so any guesses as to who that was ? That puts a different spin on it then. Looks an upgrade on Moore. Hopefully we are looking a bit higher up the pyramid for Bodin's replacement. Interesting also that C's idea of width appears to be players who cut inside and shoot! There is the possibility that D.C. prefers a wide midfield player who is best at coming inside and shooting with the occasional cross and having fullbacks who overlap to deliver the crosses.

No doubt about it. Our promotions were built on that very style of play.

No doubt about it. Our promotions were built on that very style of play. It's also the way that virtually every top side in Europe play now

No doubt about it. Our promotions were built on that very style of play. It means the opposition fullback is never sure whether the midfielder will lay the ball off down the wing for the overlapper or cut in the opposite direction. That second of indecision can give you the edge on both outcomes. Hence the doubling up that occurred to mark BB , which in itself allowed someone else on the pitch more freedom.

Bernard can naturally play left-wing, right-wing or as an attacking central midfielder. Personally after watching him over the last 18 months, I prefer him on the left hand signed being left footed. He’s a good crosser of the ball and is too unselfish in my opinion. Always gives his all and really puts in a shift for the team. A good signing and should do well in league 1. Good luck Bernie!

Thanks,i really enjoyed my trip to aldershot in the conference season, before the match they introduced a couple of d-day veterans and the atmosphere and the game itself was very enjoyable.
