Sad news.
It brings it home when someone younger than you, and who you assumed was supremely fit, passes on.
RIP.

First first div match I did as a linesman was WBA v Sunderland.Ref the arrogant Clive Thomas.Cyrille had gone through a barren spell but hit the crossbar and the ball bounced down. Was it over the line?Well I gave it and replays showed it was over the line-just.Big relief.Lovely man.RIP.

Always had a soft spot for Baggies which started back when Cyrille was knocking in the goals for them, a great team to watch in the 70/80's.
An inspirational player and a very sad loss.
RIP Cyrille.

Saw him play several times in the late seventies/early eighties at West Brom and Coventry.
A great player and personality and absolutely loved by the baggies fans.
So sorry to see him go so soon.

Very sad news, I watched the interview with Brian Deane earlier about Cyrille Regis. Very touching and sad. Rest in Peace Cyrille, too young to go.
