Happy with the 2 signings, now that they’re finally confirmed I can relax and look forward to Saturday! Shame we couldn’t get that 4th man but still, 3 perm additions to the squad is a good bit of business in the end, and if Rollin gets good game time out on loan then that’s an excellent move also.. not a bad window after all maybe. Utg

"I know Adam (Smith) too, I met him briefly, I'm not going to say where" I wonder why the secrecy? Either way, it is good he knows a few of the lads (Ellis and Lines) so fingers crossed it will help him settle quickly and he can hit the ground running. Welcome to the Gas! Thailand...?

If D.C. can work his magic then we have a good player, seems to have been inconsistent for them, so as you say Mark mixed reviews, saw some of his goals, looks like he has a good shot on him.

About time Nichols had some competition. Good work DC.

If any manager can get the best out of him then it's DC. I think we got a very good signing here.

Comes across well in his interview. a bit of maturity ! Can't be easy coming in in the middle of the season - but he sounds like he can handle it !

I looked up on a Portsmouth twitter site last night, the majority of Portsmouth fans were disappointed to see Bennett leave , some even suggested Jacket should be sacked for letting him go without a fee. Appears to be a quick skilful player let down a bit by his end product. So looks like Dc and Stewart may have to do a bit of work on him but he could be a good signing in the long term. Appears DC didn't get much of the Boden money to bring in new players , no coincidence that we signed a contract with a company to manage The Colony when the owners new money was coming in from the Boden sale, so we know where most of that money went to!.

The majority of Portsmouth fans on Twitter sad to see him go and say he's quite a good player who wasn't getting a chance over there.

I really don't think the Colony Management appointment was reliant on selling Bodin.

Apparently Kyle was the player to turn us down at the last minute. ‘Football politic’ whatever that means. Also been confirmed we had a bid accepted for Otis Khan, but he decided to stay at Yeovile

12 months ago people were saying much the same about Ellis - DC likes a challenge - bring it on

Well there was enough money to make a bid that was accepted by Yeovile for Otis Khan and I guess that was a six figure amount.

So confirmed by DC that Bennett was the move that fell through the night before Mensah was announced, and moved onto Khan after that.
Seems like he got one of his first choice targets.
