The signings provide options and a depth to the squad which will prove to be very important. The key for me is how well DC uses the options, we are yet to really see Bernard, hopefully he will be more involved today. Not sure DC will have the appetite to play two wingers, so l guess Kyle will play generally off the bench. It will be interesting to see what DC will do at centre back, does he drop both Sweeney and Broadbent from last week and bring back Lockyer and bring in Craig, or maybe go with a combination of three at the back and five in midfield, We now have Options.

I think January's transfer business is more or less finishing what DC was aiming to achieve back in the summer.
On paper at least it certainly seems that the new signings will give us a lot more flexibility in terms of formations. Also additional resilience because a significant number of players in the squad can play in different positions.
I'm really looking forward to seeing how this translates into the performance on the pitch but I'm also crossing my fingers that the additions and changes don't upset the rhythm that the pre-jan squad had got themselves into which has resulted in us being unbeaten in six.
UTG!

His 8 goals in 15 league one games is easily a better goals to game ratio than any of our strikers though.
