Can I say you do a brilliant job, I'm not ashamed to say I had to use the food bank in Lawrence Weston a few years ago, they really helped me out at a bad time for me. Now most weeks when we do our shop we always donate.
Keep up the good work!!

Was about to start a thread about this. Luckily Google helped me realise that there already is one.
So...bump.

Thanks for the heads up on this. I hope this gets well publicised elsewhere, I will make sure I rob the wife's larder for this very worthwhile cause.

Quality poster you’ve made, I’m going to print it and put it up in my cafe. One of my non footy friends forwarded me the cable article about this a couple of days ago, made me very proud via association, kudos to you all!
As I like to have a few beers prior to the match and not carry around a bag of shopping, will you also be taking cash donations?

At the risk of annoying the OP you will all probably find a food Bank collection basket in most supermarkets and some local CO-OPs if you are unable to give on the day.
I try to grab one extra tin of something most weeks in my local CO-OP. It only adds a quid to whatever you are getting and it's no effort at all to just drop it in the collection basket on the way out.
