I'm on the potential play off team bus. There are still a few vital questions before we get ahead of ourselves, however. A) Away form - one win does not a good away form make. We've slipped up against some of the smaller clubs away from home, lets see how we do against Southport. B) Goalscoring - everyone is chipping in with goals at the moment, but you feel that at some point of the season, we really need one of the strikers to take the mantle and go on a big scoring run. We have good strikers but which one is going to hit 20 a season and come up with goals when the chips are down C) Injuries - so far so good, we've not had someone down for a prolonged amount of time. But two injuries in defence and we could be back to having McChrystal in or something along those lines. Center midfield also could be a slight worry. D) Loanees - Martin and Cunnington have proved crucial so far, but it isn't out of the realms of possibility Luton or Cambridge have them back if they impress further. Also, Trotman is on a short term deal as far as im aware, we need to work on getting him to the end of the season at least. Great post and spot on. Nice one

So exciting times. 47% are on the bus and enjoying the journey: 37% might get on at the next stop. So by next Monday we could have 84% of the votes on the bus and enjoying the journey. Absolutely unbelievable.

What is interesting is that 2 might get off at next stop and 7 are not on the bus and won't be getting on.

I'm still one of the 7.

Is it one of the old buses I used to go to school on? A double-decker with spiral staircase and open platform at the back? If so, I'm on the platform, hanging onto the pole, likely to be thrown off at the first twist or turn.

Okay if we beat Aldershot tomorrow (and Halifax, Gateshead and Barnet lose), we'll be 2nd and one point of the top spot.

And the gory gal represents the proverbial nosebleed caused by the low pressure of great height! I get it. It sounds quite promising, given all the provisos, but here are two more: Woking and Turkey will both overtake us if they win their games in hand, whenever they are played.

I'm sorry, I'm supposed to be on the bus and I sounded pessimistic. Will I be thrown off?

I have just bought a new badge from the club shop and a blue woolly hat to see me through the winter months at the Mem. That's commitment, and I plead not guilty to wavering in the cause.

Rich is like a cross between Sandra Bullock in speed and the Scorpio killer from Dirty Harry.

And I'm on his bus. I'm glad I'm on that platform at the back.

I've been staunchly off bus up until now.
If it were a top 5 bus I might think about looking at the day trip brochure.
I'm just not yet prepared to entertain the P word.

I am technically on the bus, but I am one of only 2 people who are in the grey bar - On the bus, but may get off at the next stop. I can't believe he tolerates us, but we're on for the moment. I wonder who the other person is who's hanging on at the back with me.

When I created this thread it was actually meant to be a top 5 bus - I.e. playoffs and above. I didn't make that very clear though!!
