'The best goal at St James Park this season' Exeter City 2-0 Lincoln City (agg 2-0)
What a goal from Hiram Boateng.
Everyone was saying ‘pass, pass’ but the former Crystal Palace youngster knew exactly what he was doing as he curled it in off the post.
In the context of this game and Exeter’s season, that has to be up there as the best goal of the campaign here at St James Park.
Boateng!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy with that , had Exeter and Wolfsburg to win both teams to score in a double £10 - £220 . Exeter’s ground was only open on 2 sides but it looks as if they’re going to have a decent stadium pretty soon lots of building work going on. Boateng looked decent for them always on the ball and looking for options, I don’t think he’ll make it past league 1 hasn’t got the balance or technique but a decent player there for sure.

He never looked that interested for us and the vests proved that, had high hopes because he was liked at Plymouth.

I didn't watch last night but I did actually rate Boateng, a player with potential. He was just a bit lazy at times. Be interesting to see how he does if they come up (I hope they do by the way).

Thought he was class. I don’t think he was lazy, I just thought he was used to having more time on the ball. I remember at Sheffield Utd away, he was the best player on the pitch. I wish we had been able to keep him.

Boateng's first half performance at Shrewsbury was one of the worse I've seen in the DC era, but what's the betting he's the next Exeter player to go for £1m+.

If, god forbid, DC moved on unexpectedly I think ‘Tis would be a good choice for us and he may be tempted by our perceived greater potential. 🤔

Don't get too excited I know a lot of Exeter fans and he splits opinion with them. Id probably still have him here instead of Ollie Clarke though!!

The Grecian's were fantastic last night. Paul Tisdale another tremendous manager 12 years in charge and made £7M from developing and selling on local players. Exeter are going quietly about their business re furbishing their ground I believe under the guidance of a community based group. Super club, best of luck to them and hope they get promoted. And what about Boateng ? ffs he was brilliant last night, definitely imo better than OC, so strong, direct and what a super goal.

Agree with a lot of this but please note that that was only Boetang's 2nd goal of the season.

He has certainly improved under Paul Tisdale, if the manager goes to MK Dons, I would imagine players like Moxey, Hurley and Boatang may well follow him. I personally hope Tisdale stays at Exeter, he has built a legacy, which with his guidance could take the club further up the leagues.

Exeter don't get anywhere near the crowds Plymouth do.
