Looks like a Coventry v Exeter Play off final to join us next season. P.S Lambert gone so not sure how that mat affect any chance of Dom Telford joining us permanently. It’s only half time so plenty of time for Notts County to get back into it at 2-1, we were 2-0 up against them and they ended up winning 4-2 when we played them last year.

Cov got some decent players so much as I despise county for cheating against us hope they win then lose to Exeter in the final so they can buy Tom Nichols 😂

Good performance from Cov. First half of the second leg certainly, thought they started the second half shakily and barring getting the rub of the green with some tight Lino calls they may have crumbled. Couple that with the first leg dubious penalty and you can see why Notts could feel hard done by. I know County and Rovers are not supposed to like each other much but I much prefer Nottingham as an away trip (with my beer goggles on). As for the play off final, I wonder what Exeter think about the bizarre decision not to send both players off for giving each other a face full of dandruff? Whilst the County player was the initiator they were both culpable and the ref apparently said "I'm thinking red card" according to the commentator so he knew what the expected punishment for the offences should have been. If you argue for consistency in refereeing then there is no defence for his failure to dismiss them and although McNulty would have been the bigger loss on the night it is not like you could say he'd be ruining the game as a spectacle by giving them their marching orders as numerically the sides would still have been even. In fact the only guaranteed loser of his decision not to administer the reds was going to be Exeter as whichever team made the final would be able to select a player who ought to be banned from taking part. There is no retrospective action that can be applied to McNulty as the incident was dealt with on the pitch as the ref saw fit. To my mind McNulty is a lucky boy and the Exeter centre half is going to have a tougher final because of it.

Amazed McNulty didn't get a red, think he was slightly lucky the County player just didn't hit the deck after the first head butt.

Chelsea 1 Mank Utd 3 I got great odds on it 33 - 1 and 50 - 1 on 3 - 2. A few beers now and watch it in the local.

I don't blame Marshy for taking a risk, I thought there would be a few more goals too and it was a disappointing game in all honesty. I prefer the cup finals between two unexpected teams, something like Newcastle vs Nottingham Forest would have been a much better game.

Two games in League One that are of significance to us tonight.
AFC Wimbledon vs Fleetwood Plymouth vs Walsall
Fingers crossed for two away wins.

Plymouth will escape they always do.

Draws in both games probably best for us. Keeps Walsall, and even Fleetwood to a degree, in the mix
