Just wondered what everyone’s thoughts would be against a strong team that’s due a win?

Even less of a clue than usual, which is very little clue.
Smith
Parts, Locks, Craig, Brown
Sincs, Lines, Sercs
Moore, Ellis, Bennett
Is Brown fit? Is O Clarke fit? Is J Clarke fit?

Smith (GK) Bola (LB) Partington (RB) Lockyer (CB) Broadbent (CB) Lines (CM) O Clarke (CM) Bennett (LW) Sercombe (CAM) Mensah (RW) Harrison (ST)
I think it's time for Mensah to have a start and to accommodate this I'd move Sercombe into that attacking midfield spot where he is at his best and play Mensah on the right. Bola plays for me as I think Brown is still injured and I've decided to play Broadbent and Lockyer because although I rate Craig, I'd be keen to see the Lockyer and Broadbent partnership again because they were working well together before locks got injured and ultimately they are the future of our defence. Harrison led the line well at Oxford away so I think he deserves another chance at playing in that role.

MS said JC's now fit so I'd go: Smith JC Locks Broadbent Bola Parts Sercs Lines Sincs Harrison Telford Although MS did Say Scunny always play 4-4-2 so it could be: Smith Parts Locks Craig Bola Moore(Sercs?) Sincs Lines Bennett(Sercs?) Harrison Gaffney

You never know with DC but I can't see OC playing tomorrow, if anybody not already a first team regular deserves a start then surely it's Telford not Mensah?

You never know with DC but I can't see OC playing tomorrow, if anybody not already a first team regular deserves a start then surely it's Telford not Mensah? Yeah did think about that but if we do play wingers tommorow in 4231 formation I just can't see where Telford would fit into that as based on his form you'd want Harrison playing no matter what. We could play 442 if we want to have width and have Telford play but it's a formation that DC seems to have gone off of recently. I wasn't at Wimbledon so can't say if O Clarkes injury is particularly serious and if it is, I think we would be forced to play either Sercombe or Sinclair alongside Lines which isn't exactly ideal. We seem to be lacking a bit of depth in that department so I think it will be high on DC's priorities in the summer to bring in a few CM's.

Im certain he will start with eleven players on the pitch...after that it gets less clear.
Will he counter 4-4-2 with 4-5-1 to dominate the middle of the park
Smith Partington Lockyer Craig Bola
Moore Sercombe Lines Sinclair Bennett
Harrison.
or
Smith
Broadbent Lockyer Craig
Partington Sercombe Sinclair Lines Bennett
Gaffney Harrison

Like to see Broadbent in the team, Lockyer or craig, one or the other, I do not mind which, but together no height at the centre of defence, could again be a problem; like to finally see Bernard get a start, the fella was doing great in the conference, must be wondering why Rovers bought him. We wanted a winger he is a winger who was scoring goals and looks like he already behind Moore and Bennett.

Bennett's scored a goal, Moore's looked impressive off the bench twice, meanwhile Mensah''s looked out of his depth and cost us a goal/a point v Shrewsbury, you do maths as they say!
