Is this game still on the Saturday? Remember something about it being moved to a Friday night? Still Saturday at the moment. Unless you live where I live and then it's Sunday

All i remember about Aldershot is that b****y drum .2 years since the last visit and it is still hammering in my head- worst Chinese torture ever. How the regulars put up with that I do not know

Group of us going. Been told if there's a group of 3 of you and you get the 8 o clock train from parkway its only something like £22.50 each. Might help a few people out!

I was all up for the invasion day being Telford, as per the poll on the depressing forum. Aldershot should be fine too.

To be honest, I don't know what Gas Invasion means. I assume the ones who have tickets watch the match and the others just stroll around the town and do some shopping?

Happy to pin it if fans decide which of the 2 games mentioned will be the right one!
Aghast, an invasion day is an away game where Rovers fans make a concerted effort to travel away in numbers to sell out an away end.
In the past fans have even got tickets in poorly filled home parts of grounds making it feel like a home game with Gas fans filling away grounds in both the home and away stands.

No reason why we couldn't do both.

8 of us going from Bristol Parkway, two group-saves just booked. Now waiting for the match tickets to go on sale..
Agree with the above, no reason why we can't do both. Especially if we're on form.

Away fans are housed in the South East corner of the ground. This comprises 212 covered seated places which are available in the South Stand and space for a further 1,320 standing supporters in the East Bank Terrace and a portion of open terrace extending around to the South Stand. The East Bank is shared with home supporters and there are a number of supporting pillars, which could obstruct your view. Although the East Bank is showing its age, at least it does allow a good atmosphere to be created. Despite the club having done significant work to improve facilities for away supporters, they remain pretty basic.
Is that really enough space for an invasion? Shame Wrexham away isn't a weekend match.

Looks like Eastleigh could be a gas invasion 800 tickets sold 300 more being sent. Also is there segregation as reading the football ground guide until new stand is open there is none

If its a Gas Invasion we will easily sell out the 1,500 tickets. The problem of segregation may reduce our chances of getting a further allocation, unless they choose to make a big profit and give us the whole of the East bank terrace which is shared between home and away fans.
no way.
this is Aldershot we are talking about!
I'm def going. going to concert in London after the match.
Hopefully dragging a Norwich City mate along with me.
