An honest interview from accrington striker billy kee about his issues with depression and severe anxiety. Ive never been clinically depressed but have suffered at times from anxiety as im sure many of us have. Rovers related? Well billy kee is a player who has often cropped up on rovers threads as a dangerous opponent or a possible signing. Maybe this explains why hes still playing for accrington? Can anyone do a link to put the video on here? Google "the rat in my head wont stop" bbc sport billy kee I thought it was interesting.

Billy Kee, whatever psychological issues, he is certainly still banging them in for Accy and at 27 he is a player I would like here.

Pro active posts like yours are a good sign as it reminds people that a close ones odd traits or sudden behaviours could be something that needs looking at. It's an absolute lady garden of an illness and no two cases are alike, some get by by putting on a false front, however this is the worst thing you can do as in many cases you finally crack in an horrendous way, some drink do drugs, some lash out other become introverted and never leave their home, some like me self harm as a last resort hence my sig about brother razor blade,we don't do it for fun or attention we do it because we feel so empty and hollow so if it hurts and we bleed we then know we are alive at least, same with booze drugs etc, we know our behaviour is somewhat odd at times,we also know how to contain it, we are not stupid, it's just that although we know the hows whys and wherefores our brains override the logic. As i always say to people keep an eye on your nearest and dearest and if they start behaving in odd ways then be there for them as sometimes just talking to someone can do so much good, if they are reluctant to talk to you give them the Samaritans Number and encourage them to ring.
