Enjoyed the beam back today at the mem, pies were good, Guinness cold, and nice relaxed atmosphere in the dri build bar, well done Rovers, shame that Neil warnock was the referee😂

Why so few events though? I don't really call the beam back a social event.
The SC quiz is what the SC volunteers do, the Anwar Uddin evening has been organised by Ken thingy as part of the community trust and Gordon Bennett (the Gordon Bennett?) arranged the programme fayre.
So what has Kerry the marketing person done? Couldn't sell out pie and a pint and unbelievably any!! West stand box hospitality for the biggest game of the season yesterday. Shocking!
We know the Mem isnt great but the lack of bookings has got to be one of the reasons for the continued losses.Surely the stadium should be used a couple of times a week at least.
I know Tom G has started getting the drive in cinemas etc, but we need to get more business and if people are not doing their jobs well enough, we should be on the lookout for better workmanlike people.
The club has been held back by too many work shy people picking up their wages having an easy life. The good thing is that it seems slowly but surely, one by one they are being let go - ex catering manager, stadium manager etc, but I bet Holtby would have shifted a few hospitality boxes yesterday. Maybe we are going to miss his gift of the gab?

Received confirmation from Tom Gorringe and the band, so the Bloggs band will be playing after the Gillingham screen soccer highlights in the SC bar.
Admission is free.
Did anyone go to the programme fayre today or was it postponed due to the weather?
