Would VAR changed these penalties? Video assistance in all sports should be outlawed with immediate effect. It is a joke that matchday officials have to resort to television replays to try to get them out of the mire. Was watching the rugby yesterday, whilst following the Gas on here, That water poor excuse of a referee did not see any of the Irish tries. He needed the telly to give him the answer each time.It wasted minute after minute and was bloody annoying. In tennis, the Hawkeye system has proven to show the incorrect placing of the ball, and also stops the momentum of the match. If the people in charge of a sports event need help, may be they shouldn't be officiating in their chosen field

So long as its not dangerous at the time.Yes, of course I do. Its the only way of doing it, without artificial aids.

But a some point a bad refs decision is going to cost a team a play off place or even auto promotion? Like Trevor Kettle did to Accrington the year we went up? Blowing the whistle after the ball had left the strikers foot on the way to the goal but called half time before it hit the net. Probably one of the worst decisions I’ve seen. Yesterday the ref awarded a pen when it was simulation. The second pen is always a 50/50 if you get seen. But how he didn’t give a pen to us for a rugby tackle in the box I’ll never know.

These games/ sports are played by humans. At least allow humans to make the decisions.

I am thoroughly sick of the cheating that is now endemic in Football and so I would use the same system that is used in Rugby Union. How can this ruin the game that has already been ruined by the cheats? The Plymouth Player for the second penalty appeared to have his arm raised in the first instance and then collapsed to the ground feigning injury. The referee seemed to be looking in the right direction and should not have fallen for this apparent con. TV referral of this incident could have viewed it from several angles and if cheating was proved beyond doubt then I propose he should be sent off with a 6 game ban. In the Premier Division I would like to see a 6 game ban plus a hefty fine and or possibly a one point deduction. Also all suspected penalty awards should be referred. The message must be put out there that cheats should never prosper.

I think that might be too many for football but one or two per team and obviously the managers would choose when and where would help and that could work. We were robbed 3 times yesterday but things like that happen once every blue moon.
