I was last week, I soon caught up though and was mullered by 5pm. I bumped in to an old mate outside the golden Lion on my way back to the van after the beamback at 5pm and ended up staying out all weekend and was only sober enough to get my van back yesterday. I still feel hot and sick today.😂

30 years ago the only things the club owned were player contracts and enough bits n bobs and kit to fill the back of an estate car. The club trained at Keynsham on amateur football pitches and played in Bath at a non league ground. The club has come along way. The club will be spending more on its training ground (purchase and build) than it has spent on anything else ever (including the Mem) That in itself is a massive step forward. Pretty sure it will be DS' money not BRFC1883's, unless DS plan on gifting the club the training ground once it's built? If not, then if it is ever actually built we will just rent the ground as we do our present one.

We're continually told on here by the cheer leaders that the Al Qs ate great businessmen. Businessmen don't do anything for anyone accept themselves.
So the easy answer is they've done nothing for us only themselves. If things go well / lucky then it may also pay off for 'us'.
Off course the fantasists will continue to pretend they are philanthropists orthat, in some parallel universe, we are owned by a middle Eastern bank.

I actually extended it to any other business, or did you miss that?

Why would I wonder when I know but what's that got to do with the here and now? The simple fact is if The Colony is ever built then it won't be owned by BRFC1883 it will be owned by Dwane Sports, so the OP and SH are both mistaken when they say we'll have our own training ground. If the owners really wanted us to have our own training ground they could simply lend BRFC1883 the money to buy & develop it.

The suggestion that we had a team of people assisting DC recruit players now seems to be nonsense when DC's admitted he as to do it all himself! Did he? I distinctly recall two other names mentioned in last weeks interview and that he chose to be so involved in his transfer business because that was his preference.

Regardless of motivation, isn't in all our interest that this relationship works to our mutual benefit?

So why suggest in the past when I questioned if DC or Sh did it all that he has a "team" dealing with contract talks when he's clearly stated he doesn't, either you are a knowall or just make it up as you go along.

Dwane Sports I ---------------------------------------------- BRFC1883 THE COLONY No they'd be lending it to BRFC1883 so they could buy the land rather than lend it to "The Colony" to buy the land, regardless the fact remains that the The Colony is not owned by BRFC1883, for some reason the ALQ's clearly want to keep the two parts of DS separate.

I am not sure where or when or to which 'suggestion' you refer but apart from professionals within the football department you might be sure Steve Hamer, Steve Brookfield and Dave Sams all have a part to play assisting DC in getting a new recruit's signature onto a contract. There is more to finding, negotiating and signing a player than many appreciate.

Then the new owner will pay it off The ability to find a new owner is going to depend on whether the level of debt is in any way commensurate with the club's assets and the value of the brand. So it seems a bit gung ho to assume that someone would be happy to buy the club and take on that debt if the debt continues to escalate and the club itself doesn't. Hopefully we do, but for mine it seems a bit of a bold strategy. Hopefully Wael and co have other plans, they are certainly playing their cards close to their collective Jordanian chests. They do keep very quiet about their plans and because their circle of acquaintances is fairly small not much gets out, no leaks. I guess that really p***** some off on here, they pretend to be itk. Quite amusing to those of us who’ve never been itk! 😂
