Calling all Gasheads.
We're hitting a crunch period and were a long shot for the playoffs but it's possible.
The way I see it, we're largely playing well. Baring Peterborough we've been pretty dominant in recent matches. Converting promising positions has been an issue, but if we can turn that around we could be extending our season. I've seen lots of comments regarding the form of our strikers, and no-one is making unfair points. But for the last 7 games lets really get behind whoever starts and give them the confidence to have a crack/ miss/ score.
Harrison is one of the better strikers in the division this season. His all round game has come on, and for many he is player of the season.
Gaffney hasn't got the goals and his recent decision making has been a bit off. But no defender gets an easy ride of Gaffers. He will certainly have his part to play.
Nichols, it's just not worked yet. But there are bits that suggest he could. He isn't Luke James, people. Luke James simply didn't get the positions that Nichols does. I still have a lot of belief that Nichols could turn into quite a signing. A couple of goals could make the difference because he gets good chances most matches.
Telford, very early days, but looks promising if he gets a run- lets give him that love and not cry at misses.
If one of these hits a purple patch, I think we make the playoffs. Let's really get behind them. If they miss, clap their effort and back them to get another go.

When Bodin left, the worry was that we don’t have match winners in our squad.
Since then, Ellis has upped his game again, Sercombe has come into his own, Lines has hit something like his best form and Bennett looks a gem. Also there seems a good chance we might sign Telford, who looks a natural finisher. Looking good for next season.

If and when play offs are over why not give Broadbent a go upfront I'm sure his presense would unsettle defences ?

I’f we need a big lump of a target man up front then I’d rather we signed a big lump of a target man than play Broadbent there. Although I’d rather we did neither and just sign Telford.

Sory Kaba (6ft 3in), Nuha Marong (6ft 4in), Rufat Dadashov (6ft 3in) and Leon de Kogel (6ft 4in) are targetman type of strikers, who score goals, that the club should keep an eye on IMHO.

Little Dom's talents have been wasted all season. Much the same as Ellis in the Non League season. Although Harrison got plenty of goals he was sat on the bench far too much.
