dont see many union jacks these days , 🙁 Personally, I`m glad we don`t. It`s a symbol of Britain`s hateful, fascistic, murderous, expansionist past. A time when literally billions of poor downtrodden colonials all over the world, and, er, beyond, were literally worked to death, just so the Zionist British upper classes could have two sugars in their coffee. A legacy that still resonates today. Is it any wonder that the Pakistanis cheat at cricket, and Africans are frantically stabbing each other to death on the streets of east London? This is a football forum, at least i thought it was.

What's the point of such a ridiculous post in a decent thread. Why don't you actually go to where they're saying that (if anywhere) and stand up for it, if you want to do something about it. That sort of plausible deniable sarcastic whining about a sort of vague imaginary inflammatory misrepresentation just serves to get idiots' blood boiling, but doesn't achieve anything. A good answer to the OP but maybe 'People's' rather than 'Idiots' would read a little better ? My mistake, not the OP.

I might be just guessing here, but I think William Wilson was using a little bit of irony, so those who normally wear Union Jack pants and socks can calm down about his attitude.

If I'm wrong about that, then I apologise.

I had a Union Jack flag just like that taken off me at a derby game down Ashton In the 3.1 win in the fa cup early 80's when we were getting escorted back to temple meads And it kicked off with Sh1!heads who had managed to get into the escort . I had it tied Around my shoulders and when this shithead grabbed it he nearly strangled me I was only about 12/13 at the time . Must be yet another reason why I hate the scumbags so much

Must be yet another reason why I hate the scumbags so much I like the idea of taking a 40 year old flag to away games next season.....once I actually have it up here, I may look in to getting it upgraded a little, using the talents of a mate of mine who is a sign writer...but not too much However, before I do that, just wondered if anybody may know of it, or who owned it etc.... As they say, something is only original once

The last night of the Proms must have changed a bit, then.. Got more certificate 18!

More than likely it ended up being slung in the river or put on some Sh1!heads bonfire the same night . Just out of interest lincsblue where did you get this picture ?

You need to go back to your country of origin then if you disagree with the great flag of the union

They're not doing that because of a flag.

It was sent to me by a mate down in Somerset , He has recently acquired it and was going to hang it in his garage, but has chosen to let me have it instead as he has no real interest in football.

No such thing as the Union Jack it is the Union flag Not when it's at sea. As I understand it, the Union Flag should only be called the Union Jack when flown from the Jackstaff at the bow of RN ships.

It's interesting to see how the flag that England football fans carry has changed. At the 1966 World Cup, solid Union Jacks. 30 years later at Euro 1996, virtually all the St. George flag.
