Anyone remember the last home game meeting, March 92, Jack Walker had just spent a record £1 million on a new striker, and was there to see his debut, plus Kenny Dalglish was their manager.
Boris ripped them up for ass paper. One of the most satisfying games I've watched.

Remember the game well, we let them off lightly imo. Great performance that. The foul on Bruno would have been a red these days , both feet off the ground lucky he didn’t break his leg.

Roy Wegerle was the £1m man. About a year later they upgraded to Alan Shearer and we downgraded to Worrell Sterling.

Remember it well together with the shock of the blackburn team getting off the coach and viewing twerton for the first time. Two other games I renember against Blackburn were Bobby Gould's debut hat trick in 4-1 win at Eastville and our first meeting with them when they were a decent side in the league cup at Eastville in a 1-1 draw.Playing that evening were Ronnie Clayton and Bryan Douglas (England internationals) who both have stands named after them at Ewood Park

I do - Lost 9 - 0 at Tottenham, oh dear! Just a very small contrast in fortunes!

The last time I saw Rovers in the flesh was at Villa Park, A second half winner by Henry gave Rovers a 1_0 victory, Rovers went on to win the prem that season , pretty sure it was 1996 .

My Very first visit to the old Wembley Stadium was to watch Blackburn Rovers in the 1987 Full Members' Cup Final. Obly went because a good friend of mine at the time was a Blackburn fan and had some spare tickets Was a good day out with some great fans who laughed at me because i had a Bristol Rovers shirt on Colin Henry scored i think

So 3 - 0 in 1992 ! No reason we can't do it again - but of course we'll give them one goal as usual, so 3 - 1 to The Gas !!
