Nooooooooo, I was fearing this day would come soon. He's been such a fantastic servant to this club for so long, I will be gutted to see him leave Thanks for the memories Browner, that goal brought such huge elation to so many, myself included, what an incredible afternoon that was! Gas legend, you'll be welcome back with open arms whenever you're back in town!

Lee Brown is a true legend, and also a bl**dy good full back....we will struggle to fill his boots.
This is a man who could have left when we sunk to the conference but stayed and played a massive part in our rise back to div 1. And yet some still feel the need to add unnecessary snide comments about him not being good enough for league 1.
They are both disrespectful and my opinion totally wrong.....just celebrate a fantastic pro who gave everything for Rovers in nearly 300 games, including the best moment in football many of us will ever experience.

Absolutely gutted, my favourite player, gas legend, shown fantastic commitment to the quarters, all the best for the future browner.
Who the hell are we going to replace him with? Not many Lbs play attacking football quite like browner. Interesting summer ahead.

What a shame that shot didn't go in tonight, as that would have been a fitting end to a fantastic Rovers career.
I didn't think we have many Rovers legends who've played at full back but Browner's up there with Alexander and Pritchard in my view.

Absolutely gutted by this news.
Will never forget that amazing day he helped us secure automatic promotion to L1, just think if it wasn't for his right foot we might still be in L2 now!
I wish him all the best, he will forever be a gas legend in my eyes.
UTG.

You donāt get many true legends at football clubs these days but he most certainly is one of them. Showed commitment when we got relegated, played conistently well over his whole 7 years with us, and of course that magic moment against Dagenham.
If it is true that he has chosen to leave due to family reasons, then Iām glad the day heās leaving is due to him doing it of his own accord rather than the club choosing to let him go. Thank you Browner!
